DayZ Zombie RPG (Unofficial Mod) Alpha
Warden replied to rocket's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Seems to be some problems with Zombie numbers and loot spawns? Anyone else notice this i only encountered my first zombies of the night when i hit the NW Airfield. Anyone know why using @dayz gives me the deleted Chernarus error? Loving this little mod, only question is why didn't anyone think of this before?? -
Bit odd seeing as they are bringing old Navy seaking out of mothballs and sending them to the Middle East.

Hello . My Dad was an Armourer in the RAF and the Tornado was never able to fire Mavericks, he recalls there was an upgrade program for an aircraft (he thinks it was the harrier) but the Tornado as already stated cannot fire the AGM-65. And from what he remembers the Mighty fin still has its cannons but aren't loaded as standard (Gr4)

Warden replied to j w's topic in ARMA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
I Assume the Cdrs permission is only required in the US, dont you Have to wear ACUs in Iraq and Afghanistan? The Pics coming out of S Korea show a mix of both ACU and BDU -
Looking Niiiice! Yeah not hard to miss the HAS at Leuchars from the Gaurdbridge-St Andrews road. You get a better view though walking round the back of the base through tentsmuir forest though. Infact you see most of the base from that road except for the Armoury and some other areas.

Isn't it E4 Now? im sure they changed the name?
-
That's not how I understood it. Oh well. It doesn't really change anything as it was just a supplemental part of my post. Besides, it still carries the same message. The Bunker used by the UN had been there for some time, Hezbollah may/probably have used it during the years.

The Tour De France Winner just failed a Dope test and tested positive for Steroids, Embarrising before daming now don't you think? Especially after he went on TV on Saturday to speak out about doping in the sport. oh didnt see Ironsights post, nvm...

Im pretty sure the UN had told Israel 10 times (i think) that UN Observers where using the outpost, Troops Covered in bright Blue are hard to miss from a Recce, if they even did one. Didn't the Israelis Attack an area near a refugee camp the other day? Or was i imagining that one?

Aways seems to the Russians adopt the "if it aint broke dont fix it" approach to weapons unlike most countrys. Simple Weapons that do the job well.
-
Lol np, your English is much better than my russian You answered my question anyway thank you.
-
Okies. I'd heard it wasn't as accurate as Bolt Action rifles, is it given to Dedicated sniper teams or at a Platoon/Squad level or both?
-
Well the SVD isnt a true Sniper rifle is it? I always thought it a reach out and touch someone squad level weapon for suppresion?

Well, with Classic BattleTech nearly dead and Mechwarrior: Dork Age being a complete failure, and with M$ canceling Mw5 and refusing to give up the BattleTech license, the only hope for a MechWarrior 5 rests with the player base and user mods. Â There are some good mods and games coming out though. Classic Battletech is being re-released with a bit of Streamlining to make Aerospace units easier to use. Sounds good, but we'll have to wait and see for a lot of the features in Arma, sneaky tight lipped devs

Well i think well know that living in a foreign country is no protection from israel. Hamas has agreed to the conditional release of the Israeli soldier whose abduction sparked a crisis in the Middle East, it has been claimed. Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak made the claim but added that Israel has not yet accepted the offer. It comes after electricity transformers in northern Gaza were hit by Israeli shells, cutting off power to much of the region amid the escalating crisis. Israel earlier arrested eight members of the Palestinian Cabinet, among over 80 others, and it continues to bombard Gaza. Hamas gunmen have been preparing for an invasion if last-minute diplomacy fails. The tension continues to be ratcheted up as Israel attempts to secure the safe return of one of their soldiers, abducted on Sunday. The country's Defence Minister Amir Peretz has approved the next stage of Israel's incursion into Gaza and has warned of worse to come. Sky News' Emma Hurd said Israeli artillery shells have been raining onto open ground in Gaza - but so far they have been away from residential areas. The US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has urged restraint on both sides. Snatched: Cpl Gilad Shalit Earlier, the Israelis launched a rocket attack on a car in Gaza City said to be carrying a senior member of Hamas, the ruling Palestinian party, who escaped with slight wounds. The head of Israel's southern military command has claimed that Palestinian Deputy PM Nasser Shaer was one of over 60 Hamas officials arrested in an early morning sweep in the West Bank. Abu Ubaida, a spokesman for Hamas's armed wing, called the arrests "an attempt by the occupation to blackmail us to give them information about the captured soldier." He added: "This is not going to happen." The Israeli soldier, Corporal Gilad Shalit, 19, was snatched by Palestinians in an armed raid on a border crossing in Gaza. Israel holds Hamas responsible for the abduction and has demanded they ensure his safe return or suffer the consequences. In another development, the body of Eliahu Asheri, an eighteen-year-old jewish settler kidnapped by Palestinian militants, was recovered from the West Bank. Israeli Army Radio reported that a Palestinian militant group, the Popular Resistance Committees, claimed to have killed Mr Asheri. From Sky News.

was that the one where the UK test fired a cruise missile from one of our subs, striking american soil (some island of hawaii i think it was) - was quite funny, as the brits seemed to like the idea of being able to shoot america  Eh? i was on about this. The five-day "Valiant Shield" exercises brought together an armada of three aircraft carriers and 25 other ships, along with 22,000 troops and 280 warplanes, off this tiny island in the western Pacific. But as the maneuvers began, tensions were rising in the region over the possible test-launch of a North Korean long-range missile — prompting two ships participating in the games to be assigned off the Korean coast to monitor the activity. Though officials stressed the exercises were not held in response to the North Korean activity or directed at any one nation, they said the games were a demonstration of the United States' capabilities should a crisis arise. "Valiant Shield was a demonstration of the U.S. Pacific Command's ability to quickly amass a force in a joint combat environment and project peace, power and presence in the region," Air Force Lt. Gen. David Deptula told The Associated Press. Deptula said the situation in North Korea had not impacted the exercises, which ended as scheduled Friday evening off this U.S. territory about halfway between Hawaii and Japan. but i like the sound of that!

Does a pretty good job of shooting down RAF Torando's though. Im surprised no one has mentioned the Excercise in the pacific yet, the last time 3 carrier battle groups where together in the Pacific was during the Vietnam war. Pretty big show of power and supposedly not linked to this lil event at all
