    Alrighty then!

    First of all: Yes the campaign is still on! I had no working internet connection anymore on my pc where i have ofp installed. Also as you all were aware i was on a holiday also. BUT! Here i am giving you a few new pics (sorry because they are not that good), stored on a little disk and transfered by a other pc directly to your living room (or wherever your pc is, maybe on the toilet?).

    I would like to thank all the guys that showed interest in this campaign while i was gone, also i would like to thank Munk for giving people in this thread some news about my current status. Now let's skip all the jada jada and show some pics  tounge_o.gif

    Your about to get dropped on a lone soldier mission. This is just before you jump of the chopper.

    It ain't all grass your stepping on. Mines are a common sight in Vietnam.

    A pic of a chopper insertion on top of a hill. Your stepping in the middle of the jungle. No LZ here.

    As you can see i am still working on the campaign. Although it is going slow at the moment with RL hanging around. But we will make it to the end one day.

    p.s. Sorry for the bad pictures. Next time i'll have better ones. Going back to my jungle hut away from the world of internet to do some work again.  blues.gif

    This all kinda sounds like a game i once saw and played. It was about being a hunter and having to shoot all kinds of dinosaours to gain points and money, so you could buy better weapons to go and kill even more of them. And the T-rex was the most dangerous of them all. Can't remember the name of the game anymore.

    Is it going to be something like this?

    A little anouncement:

    I am going on a holiday, so the work on the Vietnam campaign will be on hold for the upcoming 3-4 weeks.

    And when i am back from R&R, i will return to my work in the jungle once again.

    Alright you dipshits! Welcome to the NAM! Follow me and give your opinion on this baby: A bird from the good old Nam days.

    Ya want this baby in the campaign or not?! I find it very good, and when it is out of beta stage i am really considering to fit it in there. But i am giving you guys that are supposed to play the campaign the chance to vote if it is in, or out. Since i already have a list of addons now, check the first post if you want to know what addons are in at the moment. All i need to know from you lot is: Is the chopper hired or fired!?!

    Great! Another CTI, but now with fdf Mod. Hopefully this one works better then the other one. Not sarcastic, just glad that there is another fdf cti around.  tounge_o.gif

    From the DELTA to the DMZ those Air mobile boys just like to party with Charlie:

    Air mobile doing a raid on a village before the main troops land.

    Air mobile again, those fly boys just don't stop.

    Finally as the larger part of the enemy has been killed, the troops come in town for a party.

    p.s. You are controlling the point of attack for both Air attack and Insertion of the troops on the village in this mission. (i suggest using ECP with the entire campaign to add even more to the atmosphere)

    Well the only plane that i know of using napalm is the F4E Phantom also by footmunch.

    To use it on other planes i suggest downloading the F4E and using the Napalm bombs to load up your other plane. To use specifically some bombs or the napalm i suggest to remove all other weaponry from the aircraft so it only carry's the bombs you want. In that way it can only engage the target with that type of bomb. But this as far as i know will not work on infantry targets. I could be wrong.

    Ok you need a folder inside your missions folder named music.

    There you put your music files that are of file type .ogg .

    Then in your description.ext file you need to place the following (i used two music files in this mission myself so i think you will get it):

    Then you call the music with for example a trigger or something else that has this in it: playmusic "music file name"

    This is how i did it and this is how mine works. Hope i was of some help to you.

    Nope there is a special forces base NW on the island somewhere. I am using that as the special forces base lol. Ton Son Nhut is a bit to big in my opinion for a special forces base. As usually their bases were small.

    Ok decided a transfer to a more mission friendly island: Meekong.  Goodbye Ilo Ilo hello Meekong. Your transfered almost halfway into the campaign.

    Just don't have the player going from one island to the next on every mission, unless you decide to make two characters wink_o.gif.

    Oh no. He's just getting transfered to a more hostile environment because of his combat skills wink_o.gif

    Oh and the caracter is not a standard caracter, it is you who is the caracter. I have no intention to make a standard caracter with his own name and face and stuff. Your the man, no name given no name asked. You have the dog tags, you have to stay alive. So whatever face you use, this is the face displayed. Some of my pics have a black faced guy in them, that would be me.

    Sooo here's a thought. If i skip from one island to another one during this campaign, will it bother you? It would then beskipping from Ebud's Ilo Ilo (final version) to [HC]Para's Meekong island (version 1 just freshly released one).

    I am now about halfway into the campaign and the Ilo Ilo island is getting smaller and smaller for new mission idea's, so Meekong would give new idea's and new terrain. Also Meekong uses Ilo Ilo for objects and stuff. So the change would not be weird as the country your walking through almost looks the same. It's just a larger island and it's one hell of a jungle area. Enemy standing in front of ya and you noticing them at the last second almost smile_o.gif

    What ya say? Huh..huh? Common...tell me...Shall i do this jump to the next island or stick with Ilo Ilo?

    Ah yes a fine game indeed 2-2. I thought my country would have a tough time against France, but hey we stood our grounds smile_o.gif . Well for that hand ball, well he couldn't actually do anything about that, so it's a fair descision in my opinion.

    Bravo you better pray that England plays well (I know i will be praying for Croatia...)

    p.s. I would vote for Croatia to win in this poll, but what do you know...It's not in there mad_o.gif
