At some point during the mission you should get a hint telling you the mission is completed, at that time you have to use the STATUS action to update the mission and then head back to the Kommandant. If this is what your doing and its still not ending for you than its something else that would need to be fixed. But, i have yet to come across the problem your having.

Paradrop is being worked on, its already been stated that it doesnt work. I am gonna give a better balance to the weapons in next version as well. Many of the scripts have yet to be changed from the initial conversion thanks for pointing out the im-balance. EDIT: @Stit: its a fictional campaign that takes place on the I44 demo island its not supposed to represent Sicily, the only actual reference made to any nation is "German" the rest is generic, island instead of sicily, partisans instead of italian resistance.

It should be a very good game. Unfortunately it doesnt appear that it's going to be televised in the US.

Placing units randomly around map?

You group the player to the markers, i did that in a mission to have a sniper appear at a random location. -
I must have a res. object in the base to cause your guner to shoot at him. I will take a look at the groups scripting, i noticed that myself, i can give them a seek and destroy waypoint to make them move around a bit. The captured tank is not supposed to be able to get captured, once it is spawning with its crew you wont be able to capture it, only to destroy it. Besides, why would you want a crappy T26 when there are perfectly fine Tigers at the base? @Seminara: Your getting that message because you are no longer in the base and your insertion command is not valid anymore because you are currently inserting. Shortly after that message you get the ability to tell the driver to change his course in case you want to insert someplace else.

My grandfather was in the US navy and worked on a supply ship, he died a few months ago at the ripe age of 93.

Tomislav, One question for ya, was the T26 tank empty when it spawned? I think i messed something up where it's spawning without any crew. I can keep the Kommandants voice the syth one but it will still need to be fixed up a bit. A couple of the missions (S&D in particular) he is all messed up. I found that if you dumbdown his speech or spell words phonetically he has an easier time. For example when i wanted him to say "Plane" he pronounced it "Plan-E" but when i spelled it "Plain" he said it much better. of course i figurd this out after many of the files had already been done and i was too lazy to go back and fix them.

Would anyone be up for giving a human voice to the Kommandant? The only qualification is that you speak english with a german accent or if you can fake it really well. Your lines would be the same as what he says now. I will make the script tonight and keep it handy in case someone wants to do it while im at work.

I have recently run into a save game problem after installing some of the mods, i am no longer seeing any of the saves when i try to launch a saved career. Im not sure which one caused it but i added the Kegetys res mod, Das Boot officers mod and a camo scheme texture for my boat. Does anyone else have a problem with saved games?

X-com UFO defense brings back so many happy memories, i will be sure to try this mission out.

There are some areas that are right outside the airbase and some further away. I also noticed that there is a S&D area at the small airfield in the northwest corner that you can't get to. This is due to the first version of this being made on Afghanistan but that island had some rocks blocking roads that wrecked havoc on the mission so i decided to port it to I44 Sicily. I44 Siciliy however is much smaller so some of the trigger areas are off the map.

I am proud to announce that starting 14-March the Pub will host the Missions Feast Week. A new mission of my own making will be released each day from 14-March - 18-March and will feature theatres ranging from WWII and Vietnam through to the Cold War and Today. Let the Feasting Begin!!!

Thats what im working on for the next update. I also noticed a problem with one of the S&D missions wanting to start out off of the map. This is because of the conversion from afghanistan island which is much larger than I44 sicily.

@Hellfish I had to do the same thing as marcus for my Stuka CAS and my Junkers transport. Before they would drive off at an angle of about 260 no matter where i placed them, they totally ignored the runway and just made a beeline for that bearing. Starting them in the air uisng setvelocity and flyinheight seems to have fixed the problem.

Thanks for the kind words. UPDATED VERSION AVAILABLE I have released an updated version and updated the addons required lists. In this version you have: Final briefing Fixed Search amd Destroy Mission Fixed Ejection for Hano that may kill a few men Built up the base area Removed PARA option in radio Re-named radio actions I still want to have a paradrop but its giving me a headache getting the plane to use the runway and not attempt to "drive" to the insertion point.

While it's not a traditional campaign (more like a mission that plays like a campaign), this does have about 7 different missions you will get assigned and at least 2 more in the works.

I am working on changing the radio menu and i will change the CAS menu (can you tell me where they are listed? i havent found them yet) to read Stuka now. Not much i can do about it crashing into a mountain, thats the famed ofp AI. I always seem to forget the editor upgrade as that addon is sooo old now and so needed you would think everyone has it by now. I will take a look at the briefing i just quickly changed some stuff but i dont think i will completely remake it. Dunno why you got a missing addon error with the bmp2 its not even in there unless i missed it in a script somewhere. The base will be completely overhauled, i was working on that last night (as you see by the main gate) and stopped so i could get this released for beta. Im not gonna have the med truck follow you, thats what your medic is for. Insertions: im thinking about removing the insertion scripts altogether and just attach a Hano and crew to your squad and let you either drive yourself or you assign a squaddie to be the driver. This will also remove the need for long waits to extract unless your Hano gets totaled. Long waits i dont mind, makes it more realistic for WW2. Thanks for the tips & report, keep 'em coming.

Some of the things already underway for the next update: Making the "PARA" option work by using the JU-52 transport plane. Adding a mission that has you defend the airfield from attack. Adding a mission that has you paradrop onto the small island to attack a partisan camp. Fixing the erratic voice files. I used the ATT voice syth and some of the files came out quite well, later i learned if you spell some word phonetically he will speak them clearer.

This is the only hockey we get to see in the US because of the labor dispute. I really hate these greedy athletes and owners. The entire hockey season and the NHL draft have been cancelled because they could not close a $2 million gap. Now all those people who work at the arenas got less money because they didnt have the same amount of events being held at the venues and the upcoming college players who were looking forward to starting their NHL careers are all screwed.

I like spaghetti But seriously, its not that hard to look through the scripts and replace the addons and weapons that are used. It took me only one day to convert it over to WW2 and change the island to the I44 Sicily island. I even managed to use a voice synth with a german accent for your CO. I have a little more tweaking to do (extractions not working properly) and i will have a beta test version ready to go later today.
