"Dragon Skin" is a kind of body armor made by Pinnacle Armor and worn by personnel expected to be in high-threat situations. Individual users include the U.S. Secret Service Presidential Protection detail, CIA, NSA, United States Department of Energy officials in Iraq, some journalists and contractors in Iraq, U.S. Air Force, some Special Ops forces, some police departments and SWAT teams, and nine U.S. Generals in the field (as of Jan 2006). The Dragon Skin vests are known for their silver dollar sized circular discs linked together like fish scales or chain mail. This makes the vests flexible and allows for multiple hits. The discs are composed of an advanced ceramic composite (with a strength only second to diamond) matrices and laminates. Pinnacle SOV-2000 level III armor is made of an imbricated overlapping configuration of approximately 0.25†x 2†ceramic discs encased in an aramid textile cover. The area of Dragon Skin body armor coverage varies between different layout configurations selected by the user. A total of 17 rounds was fired into the panel without penetration: 3 @ 7.62x51mm Federal Match 3 @ 7.62x39mm Military Ball 3 @ 5.56x45mm M193 Ball 3 @ 5.56x45mm M193 Ball at 45 degrees 2 @ 5.56x45mm M855 Green Tip 2 @ 5.56x45mm Bonded M193 1 @ 7.62x51mm Federal Bonded -5.56 mm 40 gr LeMas Urban Warfare (using a moly coated Nosler Ballistic Tip bullet) with a 3718 f/s average velocity. -5.56 mm M855 62 gr FMJ with a 3054 f/s average velocity. -7.62x39 mm M43 123 gr steel-core FMJ with a 2307 f/s average velocity. -.30-06 M2 150 gr FMJ with a 2736 f/s average velocity. All of the above ammo was successfully stopped by both armor systems in this testing, with no armor failures or penetrations, even after receiving multiple hits. On December 20, 2006, Pinnacle Armor received the official letter from the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) that they've passed the Level III tests, and that Dragon Skin SOV-2000 is now certified for Level III protection. MIL-STD SOV-3000™ The MIL-STD SOV-3000™ Level IV & V flexible body armor system will defeat the rifle rounds listed on our ballistic chart in those threat categories. Additionally, the SOV-3000™ flexible Level IV & V systems exceed the MIL-P-46593A fragmentation requirements around the high power rifle defeating areas. The SOV-3000™ Level IV, with our large standard tactical front and back panel configuration weighs approximately 17.2 lbs. and varies depending on the level of coverage needed. The SOV-3000™ is manufactured with a ceramic composite. Links: a) Offical site (More info)      b)      c) 1)shuld it be part of standard military equipment? 2)how better is then interceptor series? 3)army hasnt procured any jet, troops have to buy it themselves? 4)If a soldier is found with this armour, it will be confiscated. If they are shot and wounded while wearing it, they will be denied benefits. There's a big political row about it, the theory being simple corruption, with the soldiers paying the price for it ?

I know that we have something similar here, but can a WL rules be modified/improved to be similar to this: 1.)User would start with 0% warning level 2.)In a user's post, a moderator and above can choose to raise it by a specified %, depending on the offense. You could have preset percentages (set through the Admin CP), and there would also be a custom percentage one for special cases. 3.)In the Warning Level screen, there would also be "Moderator Notes" for moderators and above to write notes about the specific user (only to be shown to moderators). On that page would have the list of the preset warnings, and also a choice for custom. The moderator could also leave a message explaining what the user did wrong. When the Warning is added, the user who recieved the Warning Level would automatically get a PM or Email - the moderator can choose which when giving the WL, or the Admin can in the Admin CP to do PM, Email, or Mod's Choice, and for Mod's Choice, you could set which would be selected on default - PM or Email. 4.)When a user reaches 50%, they are sent either a PM, Email, or Both (choice in Admin CP), warning them that they are at 50%. When a user's WL is at 80%, they will recieve another PM, Email, or Both (once again, chosen in Admin CP), telling them that it is at 80%. When the WL reaches 90% or higher (not 100%), they will recieve another PM, Email, or Both, warning them that they have little time left. 5.)When the user reaches 100%, they are automatically Banned (automatic ban length can be chosen in Admin CP). The Admin would then have to go through a list in the Admin CP that shows all users who reached 100% WL. The Admin would be able to click on the users name, and it will show all of that user's Warning Level reasons (it will show the preset on that was chosen, and if custom, it will provide the specification of that WL and the %). It will also show the message the moderator left for the user when the user got the WL, and also the User notes. Then the Admin can choose to unban, lower WL, or set a different ban length. 6.)If moderators notice that a user is getting better, they can also remove the WL from the user's account, and the user will get a message telling them that their WL was lowered and the message the Moderator left for the user, explaining why the WL was lowered. Thx for answering.

Thx for the info walker. Things that really interested me: 1.)Understand that the Dragon Skin body armor shown in these videos is the same body armor used by President Bush's Secret Service bodyguards. 2.)Understand further that the Interceptor body armor that is currently the standard issue for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan has been know to shatter on impact, and generally cannot withstand more than one bullet strike, unless the strikes are spaced far enough apart on the armor 3.)About six months after the Pentagon said it would reimburse soldiers who bought their own gear to use in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Army has prohibited the wearing of body armor not issued by the military.....Maj. Gen. Jeffrey Sorenson said Friday the gear has not yet passed testing. It "isn't anywhere near" the capability of the standard interceptor body armor in use, Sorenson said. 4.)Interceptor armor that is inherently brittle and fractures when dropped or slammed into solid objects such as the ground. 5.)Several independent and credible sources believe that any full and fair test will demonstrate beyond question that Dragon Skin is superior to the currently fielded Interceptor system in all significant areas, save one -- cost. Dragon Skin is more expensive to produce, but the economies of large-scale production should cause a substantial reduction in the per-unit-cost to the government. 6.)the Bush Administration puts the safety and welfare of George Bush's bodyguards well above the safety and welfare of our troops in combat. The fact is, the Pentagon has known about Dragon Skin since 2000 and still has not been willing to provide it to our troops on the ground. Instead, our troops are supplied with inferior, heavy, clumsy body armor that is pretty much useless after one hit. (I suppose the Pentagon could issue a directive to all enemy forces specifying that they take only one shot at any given U.S. soldier; that would probably absolve Pentagon officials of any responsibility.) But up until last week, at least if any of our men and women in harm's way wanted to protect themselves with the best possible armor, they could get it for themselves. Now the Pentagon has not only denied them that opportunity, but has lied to prevent the best available protection from EVER being made available to them.

This game can't compare with TW series in many great aspects (3D detailed map, huge battles, full detailed terrains, cities, far better sound etc.)...but its like u said more politically and economically oriented with much more details then TW series...i really enjoyed EU II but there is no much differences with EU III ..thou maybe larger map and some 3D elements...

1.)PSU: have Hyper TyperR 580W in one computer..its great psu, stable, but not that quiet,in second i have Seasonic 500W M12 series which is best PSU i ever had. So for little more money ,if u can, buy Seasonic 500W M12 series..its aslo modular like Hyper, but far more stable and super quiet (Recommended) Also u can consider OCZ 520W ModStream, also modular and quiet ,and its better PSU then Hyper and for same money. (2nd after Seasonic) 2.)CPU Cooler:I recommend Sonic Tower+120cm fan or Big Typon from Thermaltake or something from Zalman (like CNPS 8000 or CNPS 9500AT) Other components are great -

1.)Try to turn off or disable (click on NO) VOIP (aka Voice Over IP) modul in Settings-> Options -> Audio menu 2.)If that doesn't help:go to Audio Settings->Audio Renderer and select Software renderer 3.)And if that doesn't help: uncheck EAX (click on NO) 4.)Last option is to patch the game to v1.10 Thou i think a main problem is VOIP,so try to turn this off first   tried all those stuff and neither worked but... when i removed a windows update wich this article says i should do and it worked 1UP article about the issue Yeah,Windows security update KB917422 is the pain in the ass for most of the games and programs (antivirus etc.)...should think on that 1st...eheh ,but im glad u managed to fix the problem -

Rofl,to put 7900 along with 8800 series...8800gts eats 7900 for breakfast and it's DirectX 10 card...so take 8800gts definitively, and from that 2 i would choose XFX... 1.Wait for March-April if u can ,and buy 8800gtx for the price of 8800gts today 2.Can u find some cards from other companies...like:Asus (the best),PoV,Leadtek? 3.Only 1 year of warranty, wtf?! But if  u are going to buy card soon and to choose between that 2 8800gts ,go 4 XFX.  -
