Hello guys, First of all Great work!. I'v Been watching in anticipation for quite some time. I have a quick question. Will the FT-17 be available with the short 37mm cannon or only the MG version?. I really do hope the 37mm makes an appearance since its the catalyst of all modern tanks and all. Take care and look forward to your response. -
adding recoil to tank cannons?.

I find it quite irritating that there is no recoil on tank cannons, how can I add some?. Not sure what parameters their are available for vehicles if any?. Is there a rating of 1 out of 10 like the small arms?. Thanks for any help. -

I will likely keep the battles smaller in size in order to reduce the performace hit. 1v1 tank platoons ect. Thanks for posting it again!. -

Ok thanks for answering about the recoil, no biggie, crap happens right!. Thanks so much for this mod, I'm really enjoying it. The T-55 Enigma is like gold too me, been wanting one for a long time. :bounce3: Edit: just one other question, did you guys also have no luck at enabling muzzle blast effects?. I tried applying: effectsFire = "CannonFire"; To the weapons sections but it just made the cannons non useable. -

I just downloaded the new Lobo Iraq war mod, all the tanks don't have any recoil. I'm modding it "for personal use" by changing the sound effects and tank/weapons characteristics ect. None of the tanks have any recoil so I'm trying to figure out how to give it too them. I'm running combined ops. I'v also noticed that while I can assign sound effects for many things "soundhit" does not do anything. I wish to make different impact/explosion sounds depending on ammo fired but so far it refuses to play anything but vanilla sounds. -

EDIT: I now see there is a previous thread on this, sorry guys. Well I bought this tank simulator off of gamersgate here: http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-SABW/steel-armor-blaze-of-war $29.99 U.S. I have been having alot of fun with this game, they did an excellent job on realistically portraying both tanks and all of its systems, ballisitics, armour values ect. If you are an avid tanker, you should grab this one, I personally love it.

I really cant understand why the ACE damage system isnt more universal by now, I mean honestly the hit point system is atrocious, its almost insulting how horrible it is. Why the devs continue to use such a flawed and arcadish system for vehicles in a combined arms simulation is beyond me. -

No offense Taken, If I knew how to config them I gladly would, however I have tried writing config files in the past and it confuses the hell out of me and I fail miserably. If I could figure out how to do it I would take the time to model all of the armour values properly. Unfortunately I think some of vilas models are currently not completely compatible with ACE system as well. Me and another member tried to tackle this about a year ago. -

All beautiful vehicles, they need ACE damage system in my opinion however. Hit points suck the fun out of everything vehicle related. -

Yes this is ok, I will attempt to do this for myself, don't worry about that. I already implimented all of the Project 85 vehicles before, I'm sure I can do it again. If I hit a little road block I may contact you for help however if that is ok?. -

I will test this all out as soon as possible, I don't have the skills you do in regards to SQF however you have implimented everything I wanted to do and then some. Thanks a bunch for improving this script, it will make tanking 100 times better, I also cannot wait to use it with the upcomming LOBO iraq war release. -

Yes there is a very large muzzle flash with dust and debris cloud. Its strange, they mostly dissapear but only with this vehicle pack, oh well. I think I'm just gunna jump into modding this again and try and fix it myself, still gotta finnish sound effects and weapon systems tweaks ect. anyway. Don't waste your time worrying about it, you have better things to do. -
