    I am all for dumbing down Engineer kill points. It ruins the game when an Engineer takes a Humv MK19, builds a FARP on top of some hill and just sits there and peppers the whole city. Or want to keep the kill points, I would 'disable' the vehicle for about a minute between repairs. Remove the ammo and have it being serviced which a minute being a realistic amount of time in a 4 hour map or a quick reload in a 24 hour map. Evolution by far is an awesome map. When you have people all-around the world playing a mission you created, for months on end- you have something to hang your hat on.

    Take out the kill points for engineers exclusively, just leave mission and vehicle repair points (maybe boost vehicle repair a little points wise). It's really easy to sit at a FARP with a MK19 and just pepper cities all day long racking up points. You can't prevent people from using the 'I WIN' button on an honor system. In a perfect world we can say everyone will share and be nice, but it's not a perfect world, there are lonewolf engineers and point-whores.

    Pretty much anything but the M1A1 in game I would think. 5 ton can be picked up and I would think the M113 and M163 would be fine.

    Ok a couple more suggestions: 1) Engineer vehicles. I know there are the 3 non-respawnable service trucks, but I think would be better for a "combat engineer" to actually have a custom, engineer-only, M113 that is able to build FARP's. 2) Platoon leader radio command. I think giving a platoon leader a radio option for an AI chopper to spawn, come pick-up a vehicle and sling-load it back to base. Would have to add a couple more scripts for it to work, and give points to the platoon leader I think. The mobile respawn would be nice, maybe better than a MASH for medics.

    You might want to post a little more of what is required? MP3 sound files, what type of quality recorded at, etc. Maybe even a way you would like to have the voice recorded. Maybe attract more people since I am sure most people think you might be requiring more than what is actually needed.

    It's who has command of the vehicle. A lot of times if you just joined a server as an engineer and go to repair a vehicle someone else has destroyed, hoping in the gunner seat does not activate the FARP repair. What you can do though is, hop in the driver seat- you get ejected and then hop into the gunner which will kick on the repair. I think the reason why it doesn't do it is because you don't have command of the vehicle unless hop into the driver seat which sounds like a game mechanics problem since you have to assume 'commander' position of the vehicle.

    Not to be too much of a smartass, but if you have 500 kills in Paraiso alone, and you have more than 2 people on the server, it has EVERYTHING to do with "your smarts" and "your skills". Seriously, how hard is it to put an AI in a jeep on that little road parallel to the airport about 100 yards down? Seriously, that's in the gray circle, and the guy in the jeep won't EVER move now matter how much you die if he's passenger. So again, how much thought have you put into your problem before getting yourself this frustrated and writing this post? The way some of you play this game, you're gonna get Kiljoy to dumb the damn thing back down again and it's going to suck for larger groups just like it did pre-3.0. That's the real tragedy here. Almost every city has a fortess in it, give a move order to the AI in there and set him to stealth or lay low. He will not move even if you die since his last order was to move there and not to return to formation. Plus employ cover and stealth. Rushing into a town like you are Rambo with 100+ enemies in it will get you shot. The only mission that isn't playable that I have seen is the defense missions and that is because it fails before even able to leave the base.

    Depends on the situation and supply really, real world- not all soldiers get grenades, pistols, etc. Granted it's a video game and all, but it was one thing noticed. Near the beginning, if heading to do a mission- I will drop the 2 grenades, grab the At-4 which auto-populates the 4 M136 rounds, and a M9. Later on in the game though, I end up messing around with it more since want to take less M136 or none. I rarely don't see too many people use the hand-grenades though. We did have a bug where up north in Bangango, we had a continous chain spawn of armored vehicles. I am not exactly sure why or what was keeping the trigger running- but we weren't able to recreate it. Happened once and caulk it up to a glitch- but just passing it along. I really think you should cut out the second Cobra and maybe get rid of some of the extra M1 Ahbrams also. I would rather see an extra UH-60 MG or 2 than an extra Cobra. The Cobra and the M1 just overpower the OPFOR. I think the second SU might help with that, but I think it would have to be pretty aggressive, maybe seek and destroy if it doesn't already. Even in Veteran mode- the AA is too easy since can easily see it on the map. I really think you should remove being able to see the AA blanket on the map. Just some more ideas: One thing I would also like to see is Especas squad randomly attacking the main base. Opfor controls the island but has allowed a complete airstrip and base to sit without being touched?? Adding a couple BlueFOR artillery cannons along side of the airstrip, something outside of the edge of the first city so someone has to be in the city. I don't see too many servers with the MHC Respawns off to answer your question. I don't run the 4-hour too often just for the fact that there isn't the death count on it, but I do see people running it once in a while though. How about instead of capturing enemies, how about making them Independent POW's. (Mission wise could just set them friendly to both sides and neither side should shoot them). Or could make them Bluefor POW's and duke it in the mission file so that the Opfor see's them as friendly (I forgot the command for it- but I know Flashpoint had it and think it works on ArmA.) I think that will prevent people just killing them also. Maybe even make a pen where the POW is and an enemy squad near it.

    I will try bumping it up to veteran mode- I thought it was the default setting but will give it a shot. I would like to see maybe 1 or 2 more KA-50 or SU-34 in the air on the OPFOR side. Also, I think there should be more M203 HE rounds in the ammo boxes. That is the first thing that runs out quick. 8 rounds per each time take the GL. Plus, I would like to see the starting weapons/ammo be more in lines of what is the soldier's class with a full load. 1 M16A4 with full ammo, 1 M9, NVG and Bino. Take the grenades out.

    Killjoy, Evolution is probably the best multiplayer map at the moment. You can tell a lot of work went into it. The things I think that could use work are: 1) Enemy AA, it's too weak. Shilkas got dumbed down a little too much. It might of been with the 1.08 patch or change of skill setting with 3.0- I am not sure. Personally I think the Cobra helicopters are too powerful. I would probably add equal amount of aircrafts for the enemy AI or completely remove the AA blankets on the map to make it unknown. 2) The enemy capture, if you have less than your max amount of soldiers in squad, the enemy captives will take a slot that you can't recruit more soldiers until you remove the soldiers. Maybe not a script problem, but not sure. 3) The ending... the ending kind of lacks for all the time put into finishing up the mission. It doesn't make the game- but for a great MP map, I think there should be a rework to the ending. 4) Mentioned before are the respawn. I think it would be nice if the players got the option to respawn at a player MASH. I think revive is too much, might as well just make people invincible then unless you have the revive set to a longer time than a normal respawn. 5) Not able to run missions single player. I don't know how I feel about this- once in a while I liked to play a mission alone. I can see where you would need 2 human players to do it, I think personally I would like to keep it single player missions- or if possible, add a seperate set of single player missions also. Otherwise, great map and just feedback from me on this. If you need someone ever to test for you- I usually run a private server for me and some guys to play on.

    None of this has to do with support for the beta patch- it's actually support for the authorization software they use. Just because it's a beta patch doesn't mean anything- if it was a problem with using internet explorer, it is something that should get resolved. Also- using the term 'expecting support'... yes I do expect support. I could spend my money elsewhere- I am not made to buy the game and spend my money on it. As quick as I bought it is as quick as I could not buy another game from the company. Anyhow, I got the same reply email and personally I think it's a load of fluffer crap to pass the responsibility to BI. All the same, I deleted my beta folder- reinstalled 1.07.5154 and said screw it. I rather not waste more time and will remember it in the future.

    I was down at Ft. Bragg also and the 4th is Military Intelligence but there are two sides of Military Intelligence, the 4th is the tactical side of it. This is where the LRSD (Long-Range Survelliance Detatchment) and such are to be found. Anyhow, cool mod- and look forward to seeing the commo mods.

    Thanks for the lesson in teamspeak which has zilch to do with ingame combat phrases by the AI. They do say again, but REPEAT is used much more.

    Suma, I am not sure if it is currently flushing or when, but I think it's safe to say that it needs to flush sooner. I think leave it up to the user to decide when it needs to flush until it is worked out automatically by the program. I would a button in advanced display that would allow this. My biggest gripe is when I host a session for a progression map (such as evolution), I hate to have my client shut down when people are playing due to this problem. But I can understand about shooting from the hip.
