Arma will be the recruiting ground for VBS2 just like ofp was for VBS. many people i know have been porting to VBS2 from vbs since december and before. To answer your question there is no difference arma is besides being a game , a proving ground and a place for people to show there skills. Its an excellent opportunity for a lot of people. we do lose some very good talent tho in the community. But always another comes along.

i will translate that for you, Some people are now playing with 1.07 however they are small and limited in number so the real beta needs to be done by the masses. makes sense really , justlike 1.05beta i think it is a win win situation. we get a semi stable beta to beta test and bis get there feedback. its all one big community. not an official view just my take on things Oh and my 2cents on it being the publisher that dictates the release will have new content and exclusive . its linked to a major flaw with the arma engine . when things pause like this nothing happens until another shot is fired and then things happen in small increments after each shot. for example test your theory but place yourself in a mg2 static. you will see every time you do a burst of fire they crawl a little, eventually they leave some behind. this problem been here since 1.00 and i pointed out, they fixed for waypoints (which was same for first waypoint, uness you fire a gun nobody acknowledge first waypoint ,fixed). something badly wrong somewhere with FSM as stated before.
