agreed, but at the moment it means your to constircted. hunger should be over a longer period of time, and food should be available at every shop on the map. at the moment you have to travel all the way back to the city.

    Rpg soldiers

RPG's are used regulary against infantry targets by both Taliban, Iraqi insurgents and the Afgan Army. Im glad the ai do it in the game. Looks really cool suddenly seeing a rocket flying towards your squad and makes up for the lack of artillary/morters.

    ArmA is just ... disappointing

my biggest problem with ArmA is the troubles with the 8800. its desperatly frustrating spending 1k of hard earned cash and then not being able to play one of your most favorite games. Without wanting to turn this into a troubleshooting thread, is there any sort of solution to the 8800 problems?

That's like 1% of all the cases. Shooting kids atop a humwee has nothing to do with hostages. And since when is it ok to bomb hostages? Do you bomb hostages in your own country too? no you misunderstand. I mean during a ISAF - Taliban confrontation, small arms battle, the Taliban will purposly make the family stay where they are as they know ISAF's main responce is to call airstrikes. Dead civilians makes bad press for the NATO forces and there using that to there attemting to exploit that.

well its the only source i can use thats not 'tainted by the media'. Â I dont think you understand what the Taliban quite are. Â The Taliban are quite happy to keep hostage civilians inside buildings they know are about to be bombed. Â The desired effect is rubbing off on you, Â blame the US, blame the UK, when it comes down to the fact they are there risking there lives to help these people, the Taliban are using these peoples lives as a political tool in there ideological dillusions. Â And this is not what my media wants me to think, that is becuase i know friends and family who have served in Afganistan and Iraq. There is a compensation in place from the NATO forces in Afganistan for the desturction of property and death of relatives. Â Not real compentsation for such a loss i know, but do you think the Taliban offer people money when they string up theree 6 year old daughter for nothing more than attending school? The fact you think they have less blood on there hands than ISAF is a absolute disgrace and you should try remembering some of the numorous civilian massicres these people are respncible for.

thank you for a well made argumant jdb. Â Again you are so so so wrong. Â The taliban is mostly made up of foreign fighters, Â not Afgans. Â The afgans hate the shariah law the Taliban impose, Â and prefer a local council maintained by village elders. Â This has been the way of life in this area for centuries, Â the Talibans laws pre-invasion were not long standing. the main difference between afganistan and iraq, Â The bast majority of afgans want us there, even the US troops as this vidio shows.

dont worry,  Holland always choke in the euro.  If you can grab a win against either Italy or France then you could get through, very doable concidering scotland got 3 wins out of 4 games against those 2.

Have you ever consulted an Afgan on this view? Â you have just stated out of no-where. Â To my knowledge the averige Afgan is very happy about NATO support and very happy to have the oppertunity of self rule opposed to Taliban REAL opression

    Political Change

i disagree. Â The uk's economy is built upon consumer goods. Â We dont make masses of steel or textiles anymore, Â people make money from improving other peoples lives through services. Â simples fact. And the british army no longer represses, the operations in Iraq and Afganistan are not repression. If you call goverment aid of billions to afganistan 'robbing' then you are seriously mis-guided.

you have just proved my point. Â you can argue what you are trying to, but evidently its just not attractive to most people in developed nations around the world.

    Political Change

the current political system much of the world is in now is the best compromise currently available.  period. Until a better, more attractive system comes about there is going to be no change.  There will eventually be change but i predict the current system will last at the very least a few  hundred years (UNLESS TWO THINGS HAPPEN : there is either a major major war or a total global economic crash.) nope just a widly accepted theory.  The evidance for it is great, but it is still a theory.  Its the same as flying.  To this day there is actually no agreed conclusive reason as to how Planes manage to stay in the air.

    British teacher imprisoned for naming

its so petty.  Its a complete joke.  I cant help but laugh,  somone has actually been arrested for what they named a stuffed animal. If a teacher named a teddy Jesus in Italy would there be this sort of comotion? me thinks not  If a teacher named a teddy Krsna in West Bengal would there be this sort of comotion?  me thinks not If a teacher named a teddy Abraham in Israel would there be this sort of comotion?  me thinks not If a teacher named a teddy Gobind Singh in Punjab would there be this sort of comotion? me thinks not If a teacher named a teddy atman in Bagnledesh would there be this sort of comotion?  me thinks not If a teacher named a teddy Amaterasu in Japan would there be this sort of comotion?  me thinks not If a teacher named a teddy Ron Hubbard In California would there be this sort of comotion?  me thinks not If a teacher named a teddy Atton Rand in Coruscant would there be this sort of comotion?  me thinks not Most importantly If a teacher named a teddy Muhammed in the United Emirates would there be this sort of comotion?  me thinks not ITS A COMPLETE JOKE

too be honest Walter Smith is the manager that made Scotlands qualification campaign such a good one. Â He turned to squad around and Mcleish accomplished Smith's vision. Â Smith was responcable for the famous 1-0 Â first victory against France. just look how well hes doing with Rangers now.

    Military Humor

In google if you put "Famous French Victories" it used to come back "did you mean Famous French Defeats?".  Thats a true story as i did it myself but they changed it after complaints  Plus the foreign legion is just that,  the foreign legion.  40% of it is not strictly speaking French. this site argues an amuzing counter argumant  i love

i know the rules, i do think Scotland can finish top of there group and that is what i ment. Â If they can beat France twice and Italy once in the Euro qualifiers, Â im pretty sure they will fancy there chances against Holland. I also wouldnt put it past Northern Ireland stealing that second place from Poland. Â David Healy scored 13 goals this qualification campaign, Â 3 against Spain. Â Its an outside shot but i would but a few bob on it. I think if England get a quality manager, Â such as Capello, Then they should finish top of that group.

He didn't come through the system at Arsenal though, they bought him off Southampton for a reported 5 million pound and thats before bonuses. Watching him yesterday it seemed to be worth it though, shame to see him being carried off yesterday. yes but he was only 17 when they bought him, thats too young for a proffessional contract so technicaly (to the FA) he was still a youth player when he went to arsenal, Â and also for whats its worth Southampton were a premiership club until that season he was purchased. in other news Euro World Cup Qualifing group for England and Scotland England ironicly has Croatia Ukraine Belarus Kazakstan Andorra Scotland has Holland Norway Macedonia Iceland Scotland have a very very good chance of auotmatic placing in the world cup with that group all groups : - Group 1 Portugal Sweden Denmark Hungary Albania Malta Group 2 Greece Israel Switzerland Moldova Latvia Luxembourg Group 3 Czech Republic Poland Northern Ireland Slovakia Slovenia San Marino Group 4 Germany Russia Finland Wales Azerbaijan Liechtenstein Group 5 Spain Turkey Belgium Bosnia-Herzegovina Armenia Estonia Group 6 Croatia England Ukraine Belarus Kazakhstan Andorra Group 7 France Romania Serbia Lithuania Austria Faroe Islands Group 8 Italy Bulgaria Republic of Ireland Cyprus Georgia Montenegro Group 9 Holland Scotland Norway Macedonia Iceland

and look at some of the English talent coming out of the top 4. Theo Walcott looked fantastic today. The cream of English talent will always break out in the Premiership.

I'm pretty sure this would cause the rise of lots of ironic comments from the rest of Europe (and from the world maybe), something like: "The English way to try win something with their national team". In fact this is what I would think about it. I would dislike such an idea very much if I was English (or Scottish or whatevere else.) without meaning to try and sound Jingoistic and dillusionaly British, Â who gives a shit what the rest of the world thinks. Â I know i dont, Â let them think what they want to think. Thats not because i think England and Britian is better than everyone else, Â its just that i couldnt care less. Â I have a very poor opinion of the Italian leagues and italian football in general, Â but i dont think the averige Italian would give a crap what i thought (and neither should they have to). exaclty, the more i think about it the more this would be a great idea. Â It gives all the British teams a chance to improve for world cup qualifiers (which all home nations except perhaps Wales have a good chance of qualification) and it will revive a classic sporting rivalry between England and Scotland. Â I think its 20 English wins to 17 Scotish ones in this competition. close competetive stuff.
