Holy crap....I thought people in this community could be a little tactless when expressing their dissapointment with stuff... Check out some of the post titles made about this game by players (not exactly glowing accounts to go out and buy it): -Lack of Team Balance Hurts this Game Badly -We all paid money to be Beta Testers. -Gave up and returned it today...<sigh> -EA and Digital SORT IT OUT! -Bugs bugs and bugs -Steaming jungles of crap is where this game is and this lovely post from a player Man..I hope the developers have thick skins....for what must be quite a technical achievement they are getting a tonne of immature crap

Batdog, You must appreciate that we are creating a lot of scripted events in order to implement the new functionality of the Littlebirds. This requires a HUGE amount of testing and refining for Mulitplayer. Every change requires that every tester get the latest LB's....and that they get uploaded to the test server. Then factor in that we have different time zones and jobs during the day, then factor inb family/girlfriend/wife time, then factor in friends time. Well....you get my drift. Also...we decided to totally revisit the textures for the entire bird (you should be pleasantly surprised) and made some significant model tweaks. Patience dude.....I promise it's worth the wait

Daan, been busy with real life work and Littlebird beta testing. Will reply soon...sorry for the delay.

Just wondering if any of the folks here do professional webdesign for a living? Been looking for some but no-one seems to reply to news posts on our site.

New content...webspace is cool. @Speedy...thanks for your construtive pointing of that out. @Mikko..thanks for the info.

Nice rifle.....just highlights how dated our weapons have become at BAS. Oh..and thanks for the backup 4-in-1 and mountain. Yes we do "do our research". Of course having Damocles, a member of the armoury for the Ranger battalian and SOPMOD program helped some :-)

We are still working our asses off to get the LB's done. Spent all weekend beta testing them in MP. And yesterday saw the first of some new textures. Won't be long now lads. Thanks for your patience. Actually..this weekend was very productive for BAS on lots of different levels. I might post some ongoing work (SEALs) pics during this week. We are also going to mirror our site (thanks to NedFox) on another server in case this bandwidth error comes back and bites us in the ass again.

Ordinarily I'd agree with you....but we went through 80Gb in just page views. We didn't have any packs or addons for download from our site. I think it was people hitting refresh every 5 minutes to see if addons had been released

Before people give up on Radeon..this is a good read http://www6.tomshardware.com/business/20030911/index.html and http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/20030912/index.html Check out the benchmark figures. Seems like Nvidia suffered from Intel disease for a while and slowly ATI is whooping their butts.

OK...a little fun for Wednesday afternoon. We are going to make an OFP story. Anyone can reply to this thread but they can only reply with 4 words. Each person helps develop the story. You can up with some pretty funny shiznit after a while. OK...kick things off. ================ Once upon a time

The Seahawk is not the only Blackhawk that operates from ships. Pavehawks and MH-60s do this regularly as well. yes I know, but in my initial post I didn't want to get that detailed. The seahawk is designed for seaborn operations and the other blackhawks are indeed used, but not too often. And for sea-sea operations (ship boardings) they will almost everytime use seahawk. (with the exception of the medivacs which fly from and to the medical ships). I didn't expect some technical guy (you) to respond to it with all details about what choppers they use. OK dude....chill man
-
*sigh* I quote: I think that covers most of your post. But here another one: I was responding to ruff's post in which he stated that seals should use pavehawks simply because there spec ops. WHat I wanted to say with my post is that there's no such thing as "we use this chopper and nothing else" and that it depends on the situation, mission profile and area of operation. So next time (and I never though I would have to say this to you) read my post carefully. Well....guess you told me. However....just one extra point (after reading your post carefully). The Seahawk is not the only Blackhawk that operates from ships. Pavehawks and MH-60s do this regularly as well.
