is a pic on the prop thing (I know what you are say'n will check in to it) the fp view is'nt realy ment to have the gun sight directly inlign with the pilot. instead press (num) 0 or v for gunsight view

Hi can you go to AIA forums -> Modwork Addons -> Bug Report -> P-51 Mustang. With any bug reports in future it will make it easier fo me to track down bugs. Also sign up/register incase i need to contact you. I will put on hold the other 3 planes and put priority on the mustang's. There will be a short bug list of comments at the forum that i have found if i've missed any please add them. I'll try and fix the most important. Note ** test the bug on other planes or default ofp planes before u post (if Possible) [because i don't wan't to hear again that the planes takeoff wrong on custom islands, this is not a problem with the planes] Also if you could suggest a fix to the bug/problem that would help Thanks all

Features of the P-51D 1 Empty gun cartridge - works when firing guns 2 Gun smoke - works when firing guns 3 6 Rockets (Unguided) 4 2 Bombs (Unguided) 5 2 Fuel Tanks Can be Jettisoned anytime. When jettisoned, fuel is set to 0.5 (half) Auto Drop when fuel level reaches 0.5 tanks are dropped automatically 6 WEP (WAR EMERGENCY POWER) Can be used unlimited number of times, if you use it, it gives a boost for a short time or to a speed of 400, however it uses a lot more fuel so it will reduce you’re fuel by -0.05. If you use it above 400 it can be “dangerous†it will still give you the short boost but if you reach a speed of 550 you will get the message overstress, and speed to fast you will also hear creaking and stress. If you remain above 550 for 10 seconds you will die because you’re wings have been ripped off or so. 7 Canopy can be opened at any speed below 230 it will close automatically at 231 (if you use the boost sometimes this is too quick for the script to handle) at a speed of 50 you will hear wind until the canopy is closed ( the wind sound is 9 sec’s long so the timing can be out sometimes) 8 Gear folds up down and you get green or dark red indicator lights 9 Add smoke script by typing this exec “\aia_p51em\startsmoke.sqs†It will make the fuel and hydrol lights work (forgot to add in the readme ) this is only a few as i didn't have enough time to list the rest but i will soon ps: re the other 109 i think we all will be in for a surprise soon with a m.^ r.l%a@e

i'll try and answer someq's CuteQA -> "I think the AI pilot abandon the plane to easily, is it possible to adjust it?" = No reconmercs -> "this is a GREAT addon of a GREAAAT fighter. The one thing wrong I can tell is that there is no ww2 pilot to go with it. They prob couldn've used the pilot model from the F4U and also it doesn't engage ground troops (the corsair doesnt either ) this is VERY important for a ww2 fighter plane addon..those are my only two..it handles really well " = There will be no pilot releases use the ww2ec 1's and my i suggest the marine pilot, (they are the best btw) if any1 doesn't know how to do this, then just do this insert p51 plane name it p51 insert pilot in the init field type this moveindriver p51 i can suggest practice with the waypoints and behaviour to get both planes to engage ground troops Yoshiro -> there will be some flack in the mission Yoshiro -> h yea and steal Trenchfeets (Or actually Bull's Eye on my Back's) multi gun script for the corsair when you can = can i help, wait it was ours but i will send it to him

there seems to be a few probs i can't understand can someone attach the config.cpp file for the planes here for "elliots mess and contrary mary" whay does it need the corsairs i never added this???? i don't know what happended between me uploading and you downloading???

hi all incase you didn't know i've taken over the work on the spit now, it's looking good and won't be too long away from release. also our mustang pack is due for release at 6pm GMT today

well some news the go229 should have some cool features i'm working on the engine script and cockpit atm so i hope we can release it in 1 or 2 weeks flies well and backs it's self against the p51

lol I can't believe i missied this! Sxep is this the go229 by Gordak? cause if it is then you're in luck and so am I I got permission from Gordak a little while a go, to remodel it as there isn't that much to do, i have pretty much done all the animations and stuff, but just need textures for it and fix up the cockpit can you add me to you're msn trenchfeet@hotmail.com

Yoshiro yes it is the pic of the script, i hope to give it to bratty but i need to ask Bulz Eye On my back he was the creator no it doesn't cheat ATM the mustang has 1880 bullets it fires 6 at a time and very very quickly if you don't fire in bursts the you will run out. fw200 no it does not use l/r rocketa but uses cam create "stuff" it does have 3 probs tho but not realy noticeable 1) it depends on how much cpu time is avaliablle (meaning if there are LOTs of units then the tracers don't appear as close to the plane as in the pic, you just c them a bit further away) 2)I would like to have some small smoke trails that follows the tracers 3)Occasionally if you get within about 5-10 meters of the enemy plane and are constantly firing, the bullets sometimes hit you're own plane ?

Has anyone had this prob or have i left something out? if you are on the east side and you shoot the guy with the flamethrower, run over and pic it up it doesn't work. (the flame/fire work but the kill script doesn't. I may be wrong tho?) I found out the hard way in a quick mission i made, you assault an airfield (para drop in) and have to withstand an armour counter attack (cromwell's). Ran out of rpg's found the flamethrower and chared into the open flaming the tank which didn't hesitate to blow me apart once it saw me

Cose Combat 2 was a great game and slowly ofp is going that way, so ww2 action can only get better Great pack and the flame thrower rocks or burns. the ai uses it very well also

Hi ya Bratz + Team Great Addon!!! And the pilots are 1st rate too!! An idea about it not engaging ground targets and the ju. Ju - because its unarmed maybe the corsairs don't think it is a threat, i have had the same prob with the p51.(i'll give it some weapons and c if anything changes) Similar example can be applied to soldiers. If in a ofp battle you don't fire at the enemy "most" of the time they will ignore you. Could this be the same problem with the ground targets that the corsairs are sent to engage? But they did destroy the shilka and vulcan, because they were fired on?

Furia; quick question what plane were you using to shot the ju52 down? And if it was a default ofp plane just wait for our P-51, this thing has 6 machine gun barrels so... (they all work) and it takes down anything! Also Bratz planes i believe will also have full working gun barrels, when he releases his corsairs soon, dont miss them

Yeh i'm not a fan of installers but they decided it would be best for that release. Miles Teg CAT was short for Catalina And it was 13 miles of sea not runway

Miles Teg yeh you're right about the American-Japanese soldiers they did fight in some of the harshest battles. Another story can be said of the Tuskagee Airman who were African-American. (they had the destinctive red tail on their Mustangs and Thunderbolts) Did you know they never lost a single bomber (b-17+others) to enemy action, over europe? Can't wait to try the german pack i'm 50% dl so far

Hi, yeh that script took < 1 min to make it was a quick example of how the lights work. But instead of just seeing them flash i thought it would be cool to make it a sort of practice jump on the ground before you fly. In mst cases the mission maker will make their own script so it works with their mission, and mine don't interfer. if you get the sea king and insert the code in to it this exec"\ju52fp\float.sqs" the sea king will float as will most addons i think you can even do the Jesus thing with a player (walk on water) I like that Russian plane Bratz has showd me his plans for the pby but he is busy so we'll c if he gets time How do we add shadows BTW? Miles Teg The ju52 was used in mine laying/sweaping, bombing during the spanish civil war, i didn't include bombs as this is a later version. it was used in some similar roles as the CAT did you know on occasions the CAT under load would take 13miles to takeoff?
