probly will be, but my god can you imagine how hard that mission would be if bassed on historic events.

Any game that sold a million copys, and already has a expansion out, and another expantion coming out, is not dying and kind of death anytime soon.

I just downloaded the sunbloc pak from mirror 1, and when I tried to unzip it it said it was not a valid archive. I was also using winzip 8.1 and archive is checked in the file propertys. This file is still corupted. No dissrepect intended. I appreciate the time it took to mod this and I was looking forward to checking it out. Please let us know here or on your site when you have rezipped and replaced the curent files on the server. In the mean time I am going to download the cold cream mission pak and hopefully check that out. Do you have any plans to do a set for the jungle island mod ?

Sorry, about the above post didnt mean to post it twice. Yah, I agree with Kegetys. The tools that BIS said that they are going to realease, will be released, when they are ready to be realeased. No petition is going to change how ready somthing is to be realeased. Why would you want somthing that is full of bugs and anything else that would affect its usefullness? I am verry impressed with BIS and CM user support. they have allready given so much to the OFP comunity and say they are going to continue to do so. Pluss when was the last time anybody realesed a expansion pack for $15 american, gota love that. I see absolutely no reason to sign a petition demanding anything from them. As far as a SDk goes I doubt that it will be realeased anytime in the near future if ever. BIS has jsut devealoped the best game in along time, if they want to keep their SDK seceret so be it. If I was in their shoes I dont think I would release that eather.

Had to give it a 9 I would go up to a 9.5 if I could. I cant give it a 10 I haave never given any game a 10 and probly never will. This game is as close it gets to a 10 for me. I cant down it for the Multi player, I only have a 56 k and game spy is just horrible. So, I really cant play multiplayer. I dont know if its just the netcode that makes it so hard on 56k or if there is just so much being rendered and transfered, that makes it impossible to play on slow conections. I do however think the graaffics could be improved a bit. The blocky bodies really bother me. ( Not enough to quit playing obviously) and the hands with out wrists beneath the sleaves is kinda hard on the eyes also, but I am nitpicking. The atmosphere and enviroment are incredible The tanks and vehicles look great. I just dont understand why they didnt spend a lil bit longer on the peoples bodies. Sound like everybody else has said could use a tune up but its not that bad Ghost recon is far worse. Game play, and Longevity make up for anything that I ahve complained about above. This is simply the best game I have played in a long time. I am fully addicted to OFP. This game has set the bar for all future tactical shooters. No more weenie firstperson shooters for this boy. After playing OFP no other game compares to the rush I get playing this game.

I have to say single player because, I dont have broadband. Maby somday when I have a real connection I will play multi player. Having only had this game since xmas I am still totaly in the campaine. I still have alot to learn about this game, before I start doing anything serious with the editor.

ok this is all way off topic but.......... I couldnt help but to reply. I looked at this post just because I grew up listening to Iron Maiden. And then I saw Fish mentioned above I couldnt beleive it I havent seen Fish or Marillion talked about anywhere in forever.( I live in the states) I dont know if I would classify Fish or Marillion as metal of any form, but they are excellent. I dont much care for Marillion after Fish left, But Fish still came out with great stuff solo. Anyways sorry for going off the topic of OPF but I couldnt help myself. I might have to email you Cannon fodder to discuss this mutal intrest more indeapth. you might have some mp3's I need.

All I know is I got OFP for xmas, And since then I cant keep my mind on any other game long enough to do anything in them. OFP has to be one of the best games I have ever played. I keep catching myself at school, thinking of other ways to achieve my mission goals. OFP is verry bad for study habits........lol As far is expations go, Just keep them comming. This game deserves all the well done expantions it can get I can already see that I will buy them all, just like I did for Rouge Spear. I cant even think about Rouge Spear now thow. OPF far exceeds rouge spear and ghost recon (basicaly the same engine as far as what i see). In my opinion Ghost Recon dosnt come close to OPF. OFP has far exceeded anything I had ever dreamed a tactical shooter could be. The old king is dead (Red Storm) Long live the new king (BI).

I had to go with the Apache, it is the most advanced helicopter in the game. It feels the most comfortable for me to fly. And being a newbie to the game, I dont fly anything well. But I cant help but keep trying.....lol

I like the idea of rivers and destroyable bridges. I would also like to see some more airplains. I dont know if the f4's were stil being used in 1985, but a f4 would be kewl if it wasnt a destraction from historical acuracy. And a real russian attck helecopter since the hind is really more of a troop transport with allot of fire power than it is a real attack helecopter. I could be worng thow. aslo more armored cars just because I love armored cars. Napalm would be interesting too I could also go for some other nationalitys brought into the official game.
