yea...your an idiot! COD4? multi is as bad as Kiddie Strike. And BF2 is a puffed up arcade game. More communication is all you need. And who cheats against coop bots? Insurgency has better multi then COD4.

You gotta be a cocktard to not play online.? Sp player is fine but online is where this game shines? hackers?? who gives a shit ..? there fighting bots! lol. This game compared to other online shooters have much less whiners or hackers.

Maybe adding Nvidias Physx might be a nice addition the graphical equation? !!

If the game crashes for you then something is wrong. Either a compatibility problem with something in your hardware or a problem on your side. The game used to crash occasionally for me with old versions, especially back on 1.04 performance was sometimes bad. But the latest version is definitely stable here and performance is good. My PC is definitely not "high end" these days. 7800GT 256MB, 2GB RAM, AMD 64 X2 3800. Well I do think you have a good point there. On release the game definitely was not optimised enough for all the high detail content (especially vegetation) it has. But the patches have at least helped with that. Most servers and games ive owned and run arent as buggy as this game tho. Ive had  "Day Of Defeat"  chuck full of skins and what not and didnt have a flutter of issue. The Game engine is poopy! love the game tho , but someone needs to crawl under the hood and do some major overhaul work.

Finally someone comes out and says what i have for months! I was on a server 2 days ago with 18 players and some of the clans recruits were giving me crap because i was communicating armor movement as well as enemy troop movement. I wasnt part of the clan just a smokin good pub player. lol" all of a sudden i hear...is anyone listening to wolf?? I answered back why? you should because im not part of your clan and mypoints are at the top of the board. At which point someone pointed out with a name like wolf who would listen to you. Let me stress i was the top of the score board not by kills to death !! but full out objective points mixed with kills. I couldnt believe a person would pay for a server to let it go to shit by not communicating for over an hour and then let a recruit give sas to a visting player?? However i still love the game. and when players are communicating.(not over communicating have you) but basic communicating...its an amazing game. This is a game that is either really fun or total shit..depending on who's playing with you.

Look in your programs list. You will clearly see battle eye there and an uninstall button next to it. I love this game but i cant talk any of my friends into it because of all the glitches and bugs. A top rig should run this game fine but...it takes a good rig and a bigger prayer !!! Ive had lock ups , white glare and ctd over and over. No overheating , all up to date stuff ect. ect... Lets hope Bis does Arma2 in much more complete fashion.

Oh and as for the topic, when I updated my drivers to 175.19 for my NVIDIA 7900GS got a CTD after like 30 minutes of play, although even though I was playing small firefights I didn't seem to get the old LOD problems, but the main thing is the CTD and why it's happening. Same thing here. 1 hour of play if im lucky and ctd! 175.19 drivers may be poop!! ?? And yes my rig is freshly built and pumpin out serious muscle.

My game just stops and im back at desktop. The game its self just exits on its own?? I have an 8800gt as well with the 175.19 drivers too. Im curious if you changing your drivers will help? please let me know. I re-installed the whole game again , now it does it only every hour or so. It was doing it every 20mnts tho? Let me know how different drivers work for you. My game used to run fine but now....unstable?

Im not sure if the Jip bug is to blame or what but.... Lately ill be in the middle of a MP game and bang!! my game just blinks off and im back at desktop? My computer is actually a fast rig and i checked my GPU for possible heating issues. However everything is hunky dory! I love this game but this isnt good. Just curious if anyone has experienced this or its just the Jip bug at work?

Hmmm? audio should be good and i just got the new Nvidia drivers a week or so ago? game plays better with them but... maybe?

Absolutely needed to draw in more players. Plus it would make the game less cumbersome.

actually i was thinking of a "Steam" like thing as well. Arma's well.....isnt even there.I like to see who's playing and getting my clan together via steam is really nice. Plus i can keep a constant history of servers ive been to. There's nothing wrong with the Steam community.If you become an island as a community you wont survive. I think a Steam Community type set up would be good. Even if its just there to save your friends and see when there playing. Plus it would help promote a game that i dont see alot of traffic in. I love Arma but....i want more people loving it as well. When it comes down to it every online game sucks if you dont have a good group of people to play with. Keep up the good work Devs!!

I like the online gameplay of ARMA. But...come on man..the graphics arent good and im using a high end rig. You cant look at even the hands and tell me it looks good? Cod4 has got a great wow! factor but online stinks. Arma has low end graphics but its online play is good. I think alot of the problem is the overly bland scenery. I just dont buy into my surroundings half the time. And the villages and cities need a big upgrade in the graphic side. I know theres a way to optimize this game more for high output rigs. And dont give me the....well ill settle for good gameplay and 1996 graphics. I want to like this game more but some eye candy would really help build this game into what i could be and bring more players into this game as well. Keep up the good work, im crossing my fingers.
