    ArmA 2 tip's & trick's for heli pilots.

It's a nice landing but if your transporting troops to an objective which doesn't have a convenient field to land in with lots of space for you to slow down doing your tactic then it's kind of flawed.

Arma II & OA User Video Thread

Yeah thanks Litos and Sniper pilot, took awhile to make but it was worth it in the end. I'll see about making more videos, part of that depends around how well Arma 2 - Aces goes down with everyone :]. It's so unpredictable what the Ai is going to do which makes it even harder filming planes. thanks for the comments :]

Arma 2 - Aces Pf_3R_Mumho The amount of outtakes I ended up with when filming this is huge. Enjoy.

    More animals

Squirrels are needed, but a couple of more animals won't harm.

    flying the heli

check the controls... but it's Q to increase thrust and Z to decrease.
  6. Whats your budget? You can get a GTX 260 216 Core and a HD4780 for a good price and they will run the game very well.
  7. Would you guys say that the gtx 260 and the hd 4870 are reliable cards? split between the two since there is so many graphic problems in the troubleshooting forum and im worried i'll be wasting my money if i get problems with them...
  8. I have the option to get a new gfx card, I'm split between a BFG GTS 250 Over clocked 1gb and a XFX GeForce GTX 260 896MB black edition. This GTS 250 has a better Core clock speed of 750Mhz than the GTX 260 which has a clock speed of just 660MHz. It also has a slightly better memory Data rate, plus the GTS 250 has more memory. So I'm split, I know the GTX 260 is better but it costs alot more and I'm not sure if it's worth it seeing my results of a comparison. Basically what i'm asking is, Is an XFX GTX 260 Black edition worth the money when the BFG GTS 250 OC 1GB seems to have better clock speeds and memory etc and costs alot less (£50 off)?

    Demo release

They posted that message last week, so i presume they meant today or tommorow
  13. Hi again, I've looked at the benchmarks for graphics cards and I was thinking of getting a EVGA GeForce GTS 250 1GB. On the benchmarks, it does seem to fair well i guess. ALOT better than my card i have now (8600gt). I'm not willing to get a real expensive GTX 260 or 275 etc, so a GTS 250 seems a great replacement. So would this card be a good replacement do you think? Specs right now Windows xp Intel pentium D CPU 3.40ghz 1gb of ram Nvidia Geforce 8600gt 256mb Upgrading to Windows Xp Intel pentium D CPU 3.40ghz 2GB of Ram Nvidia GTS 250 1GB Thanks for the help :]
  14. Hello :] These are my specs, how do you think they will run with arma 2 and what settings do you think I could run at? Windows xp Intel pentium D CPU 3.40ghz 1gb of ram (Getting 2gb in a week) Nvidia Geforce 8600gt 256mb Keep in mind, I can run Arma 1 at Medium/High in a battle at 25-30fps and thats with 1gb of ram (Getting 2gb in a week). Thanks
