    As 0.96 will be a feature release, I don't want to take old bugs or something into that, as 0.96 will have it's own bugs for sure.

    Also it's still a hobby which I do beside of normal life and next to my current university studies. (next exams in 2 weeks -.-)

    So I would say 0.96 will be released in august or september with the following major features to be implemented:

    • Civil Reputation system (guerillas may form up depending on your reputation and other "penalties" and benefits depending on that)
    • More Sidemissions, also kind of hearts & minds
    • AI Rework concerning the strategical behaviour of the enemy (not of the one individual soldier)
    • In general adding more a dynamic experience in the mission, so that you not only act and also have to really react on enemy actions.

    Only really general topics. More details will follow at start on 0.96 and during the development of it (also providing experimental missionfiles then again, sure)

    I found using Tanoa Liberation that the AI made soldiers that helped capture the islands.


  2. Don't download Cheanrus Liberation as it has a virus, the file is an installer and does not contain the mission. My advice to mission makers use Armaholic or the steam community downloads to avoid viruses and malware harming other peoples computers.

    BTW I hope one day someone does a Liberation for the other maps on A3 like Chenarus.


  3. The boxes need to be within ~6 meters of the rear of the truck, the dismount and look at the boxes. You should get an option to load the boxes.

    Then unload these at an FOB(I think it has to be an FOB?) and they'll be turned into ammo after a few seconds.

    The option isn't coming up, could it be ACE that's blocking it?


  4. So far I've been impressed with a lot of things about A3 but the packs don't operate the same as IRL. IRL military packs such as the Alice pack have a release tab for emergencies and you pull this and can drop the pack immediately releasing the soldier to just webbing and rifle to continue the fight. Packs can carry items such as night vision scopes etc, so far I've been unable to put one inside a pack.


  5. It should save automatically when you stop hosting, it stores the data in your ArmA 3 Profile as far as I know. New weapons can easily be added by modifying the mission, but requires knowledge on how to unpack and pack the PBO. ACE should work more or less out-of-the box with the exception for the reviving mechanic I would imagine. :)

     

    Could we have the SAVE option added in future versions so that it can be used for those of us who like using it in SP? The auto save is not as good as the use of manually saving the mission like when me and my friends used to do dynamic campaign missions on Falcon 4 Allied Forces we could help each other with the campaign and being Dynamic it is similar to Liberation in some respects also an ammo box would be cool for vehicles like in Domination and Evolutions missions.

    Nice small mod that works for all even if 1 person has on server, and fills gaps where more scripts would be needed in mission / give more 'towing and repel' options without editing mission.

    Thanks I'll give it a try I'm just trying to figure out how to deploy an FOB on the main land, I managed to fly a respawn across(after losing 5 choppers lol) but I still don't know how to deploy FOB on the main land.

I've found when doing a sling load there is a bug in the flight model the aircraft behaves erratically upon trying to descend and becomes uncontrollable almost as if it is going into a ring vortex but at a point IMO it should not be as I'm in the process of dropping off a load and also the erratic behavior is like it is hitting something.
