    nkey, I have tf_no_auto_long_range_radio = true; in the init but it doesnt stop us from respawning (using Farooq's revive) with the radio backpack. Ideas?

    Still having issues with choppers being placed on the pads in an MP DS enviroment. Too many lights are being created. Steam screenshots (warning: large) 1 2 3 Edit: Further testing in an MP DS environment. When someone connects to puts more of the lights down. Every time someone connects, which causes the helos to explode for some reason. As seen in the three screenshots below (again steam screens: warning large): 1 2 3 I hope that stuff helps.

    No, old school Nam era tiger stripe. Not the ABU. As far as I'm concerned if it's the ACU grayscale its fugly. ATACs is a possibility. Not really knowing what ATAC is prior it looks like a simplified, blurred and stretched version of a M81 pattern. ... on second look, I think it's possible. I'll consider the FG, and AU organic versions. Just be aware a camo inclusion would mean I'd make a variation of every other uniform with it. So, one camo = 8 shirt variations of it, and then 8 pant variations. So 16 new texture files at about 2.5mb each which is in total 40MB for a new uniform camo. Times that by 2 for the other color variation = 80 MB. As weird as it sounds, I've been trying to keep file size down as best as possible (I have a member who uses radio internet. go figure...). (Does anyone have any photo references to it being used in the field?)

    Humor escapes me at times. Anyways Alex Vestin has a mean looking ACU. I'd rather leave it up to him since he knows what he's doing and I only pretend to think I know what I'm doing. Plus ACU is fugly (sorry, it is). I'm still open on other suggestions, if there are any. The tiger stripe one I'm still on the fence about and if I was bored id do one pattern of it. However, I'm not bored currently.

    Yeah I'll second to what Davids said. If you can make the playable space bigger and stretch stuff apart that'd be awesome. I love the feel of the enormity of stuff when I played on clafghan and would be stoked to see a similar design in the A3 version of Sangin.

    Acknowledged Max. I'm not 100% sure on how to address that issue - its also for the MICH it seems as well at times. I'll research it and see if I can fix it. Meanwhile, I'm still not happy with the DCU uniform shading/coloring. I've been doing a lot of work on it and think I've found a good combo. So that will come soon.

    Hey Zealot. I updated the script and was playing with your test mission and in the test mission I was able to toss the ropes from both the Blackhawk and the Little Bird. When I choose to Fast Rope, I exited the vehicle and fell to my death. I wasn't holding on to the rope I guess, haha. Have you or anyone else experienced this?

    @A3MP - ArmA 3 Map Pack

    Alduric, I just had an idea... Would it be possible to separate the maps as individual files? I know you've answered this before, but you could have a CORE download and then people can download individual maps to go with the core. It shouldn't change how you have stuff incorporated that much, and would allow people more freedom in the DL choices. Moreover... Clafghan works in with A3MP! I downloaded the map and popped it into the A3MP folder and it worked without any odd errors. The only thing I noticed while exploring it was that there was some weird fog occurring when there shouldn't have been fog, and at night, when looking at the ground in NVGs it looks like a bright green land texture. Similar to the green FLIR in A3. I would kill to be able to play on a clafghan again with those two things fixed.

    I havent tested the version you just released, but I'm having an issue in MP DS. When anyone respawns they lose the ability to Repair vehicles.

    Text is now great in the system, Iceman. If possible, it would be better to increase it just a bit (IMHO). There's a few usability issues I've seen so far: The item type list ribbon (misc, weapon, ammo, etc.) should be capitalized. But thats a niche thing that irk's me. Heh. You still have to highlight the item you want to put in the inventory, and then drag it over. Left clicking on something in the item list should automatically highlight it and move it over. A sidebar pops up when you select a weapon in the DLS weapon list showing the compatible ammo so you dont have to go digging through it. I'm trying to think of a more UI friendly way than a popup though... When you drag stuff into their appropriate item location the text is red as if it's not being put in. But it does, you may want to develop that further to actually indicate if an item, magazine, weapon can go to a specific slot. If it can, left the text normal colored, if it cant make it red. Right now its all red. When you mouse over an item in your inventory through the DLS there should be a popup saying what the item is named. Stuff with similar icon's could get confusing - thats is a possible resolution to it. I dont think you really needthe grass/vd option in this at all. It only occurs when you're using the system and many mods out there use something like that. It's just redundant to have, possibly slows the system down, and make the entire thing more bulky. I'd say eliminate it. Now thinking about it, would it be possible to replace the VD/Grass ticker with a Font Increase/Decrease toggle? That would be awesome! And maybe think about moving that item type ribbon up a bit so you can add further filters for stuff like Items, Attachments, Scopes, Pistol Ammo, Rifle Ammo. Just further filters. I'll have a screenshot here once I do a quick photoshop rep of what I'm talking about. I can't wait to see this when the load/save functionality is in and side filters. Great work with everything so far. Edit: So doing some quick photoshop stuff, I may have gotten carried away. Here's some ideas to think about. (Warning large image)

    For some reason only the Player has the option in the scroll wheel when in a MP DS environment with everything properly installed. No playable classes seem to have it. IE, I have it, others dont. Known issue? Any debugging ideas?

  19. Merry Christmas X39. Checked it all out, and it seems as if each medical item is inheriting a First Aid Kit (BIS Vanilla one). If you can stop the inheritance and create your own, it may get rid of the Treat X with First Aid Kit (#) action option. Link to Inventory of 6 medical items in inventory only (Steam Screenshot, caution size) Link to Action menu giving the same amount of FAK's which, aren't in my inventory, just your equipment. (Steam Screenshot, caution size) I also noticed that you have to press Esc to get out of the dialogues. If I may recommend allowing the self and other interaction key to automatically close down the dialogue of one another. If I accidentally hit the Self interaction when I meant for Other interaction, I have to use Esc as a stop gap. It'd be nice to just hit the Other interaction key if that mistake is made, bypassing the Esc key. Further on this, if you could allow us to hit the same key again to close the dialogue that would be awesome too. EG) Press Other Interaction key, then his it again to close it. Basically anything you could do to eliminate the Esc key would be great. Lastly, when checking a unit the error at the bottom of this (again caution size) screenshot occurs. Edit: also is that gigantic respawn box a placeholder? It's huge and not easy on the eyes, lol.

    Glad you and your guys like them, iFreefall. I'm not currently at home to pull the info up but if I remember correctly they're TFA_NVGoggles for the 15's and TFA_NVGoggles2 for the 14's. I'll edit this post when I'm home in a few hours. I guess I may have left that out of the changelog in the DL - if you can't find any more classnames for stuff in the changelog, let met know and I'll make sure to add it in. There very well could be stuff accidentally left out in it. Also, for those who used them in the services, I could use some further input on the DCU. I'm still not 100% so if someone could chime in and give me some shading/coloring input on those it would be helpful - I tried going on photos from Op Red Wing but the RV4 shading engine is iffy.

    Thanks Mikey, I'm aware of that already - I've done that to numerous missions. Its... just a tad annoying. Thanks for the acknowledgement, LJ. Merry christmas to you too. Meanwhile, LJ, do you plan to change the minigun sound at all? Pages back I made note of it and it got buried. Same issue with the Blastcore post about it I made.

    Can you provide a screenshot? That may be due to the shadows. They were doing some funky stuff on occasion for me while they were in shadows. Edit: Just saw your bork'd image below. Hrm. I dont know whats up. I can look but it may be isolated to you, unless others are having this issue. Edit 2: Looking through the config, the texture locations are correct, the textures are included, so its not a config thing. Are you receiving any errors?

    Every time I make a mission while running JSRS it forces in the jsrs2_afv4_gorgon and _ms3_marid into the required mods of the mission.sqm. Every time I make a mission, I have to start the game without the mod, and then restart it with JSRS to play with it. Very annoying. LJ, are you aware of this issue? I'm not placing anything specific to those two on the map either.
