    Operation Northwood

Exactly my point. Â If there were no nation built on a belief in god and non-socialistic corruption...there would be NO wikipeida, no publication of government embarrasement, no check on power. Or we could have it your way, rule by the elite. Â For the masses, to rule the masses. Socialism forgets one certainty. Â It may inevitable that socialism will take hold as uneducated masses follow corrupt, elitist, demagogs...but their power wil be even more short-lived and ripe with offense then the prior regime they vow to bring to justice. That will lead to the power of aristocracy or once again the power of the people. Â Not the "people" in the form of the elite. If you disagree with that then you must admit that you believe people are just to dumb to rule themselves. Â And then you will be shown for the fraud you are. Again you bore me.

Your inane dribble is a bore. This is just more of the same. Bring me something to read that doesn't use Wikipedia for reference.

Any modern space combat flight sims around?

Wonderful news! I was very disapointed that they never made an addon for HW2. Thanks for news that makes me do this:

Any modern space combat flight sims around?

Got my hands on an old copt of Freepsace, the addon, and Freespace 2. Freespace 2 is highly reccomended. I had not played it since it came out, and still wonder why it was not a bigger hit. As far as "space combat flight sims," without the RPG or other elements...its the best out there with a distinct lack of anything that resembles it since. If you don't want to go the RPG-ish route and be a pirate running contraband, and dont care about being the comander of a large ship... ....the pure fighter, bomber, attack, goodness that gives you the feel of "Star Wars" battles is sure to please in Freespace 2. (Great production values too! Oh, imagine what a game of this type would be like with todays graphics.!!!

    The Korean War

Spokesperson, once again your inane logic expemplifies your lack of intelligence. Â Since you bring up Stalin, lets start there. Â Stalin is credited for the deaths of 3-60 million people through execution, starvation, and repression. Â The low 3 million coming from the number that can actually be documented by archives. Another atrocity the "media and newspapers" didn't care about was the aftermath of the US pulling out of Vietnam. Â No mention of the thousands to tens of thousands executed by the North. Â Oh. then there was the rampage of the Khmer Rouge ("Red Khmer") that also followed. Â They get credit for some 2 million more deaths. Â Although their leader Pol Pot claims it was just 800,000. While the "West" faces criticism and scrutiny from within, do you think any citizen, government official, or "journalist" in North Korea would live long enough to speak out about the forced labor and starvation of the current regime? But you go ahead and make your asinine judgements. Â You have no legs to stand on and no logic to make your voice more than a whimper. Maybe you will have more luck with your garbage on some UFO conspiracy website. If you truly want to use your mind, perhaps I can suggest a book or three.

    ArmA is just ... disappointing

Wow THAT really clears things up and builds my confidence.... Everyone has their own limit of patience and loyalty. Â But as a whole it seems evident that the number of weary remaining fans should be of great concern to BIS. It may be, but the community wouldn't know it. Â The comedy of errors and lack of any clear message from BIS means that the community is left to speculate wildly about the promise of a patch, or the end of the franchise. The fact that BIS would neglect the base of their future earning potential, and leave us to make our own illinformed presumptions about the future of the company.....does not bode well. This community is a ship with nobody at the wheel. Â The waters may be warm and clear ahead, they may be filled with iceburgs that could sink it without warning....hell, for all we know this ship is outa gas ( $ ) and run aground already. What do I know. Â I'm just a suker that dropped $40 ( TWICE! ) for this game, which clearly excludes me from being the voice of reason. 58 Days since the last post in "Arma-News" thread. 86 Days since the last post in "BI News" thread.

Nothing new in the NEWS section for 2 MONTHS! October 16th was the last bit of "news"......par for the course. Driving your fans away and killing a community 101.

    Squirrels

Normally I'm not one to bash the US...but when I spend 10 mins cruising the internet and find this...then I think it's worth givng others a chuckle at our expense. Call me a city boy, the kind that thinks of squirrels as furry pigeons that run up to your feet looking for hand outs...but I had no idea squirrels were considered so much "fun" in other parts of the country. ...and nutritious too! Squirrel launching...some kind of sport for you country bumpkins? Example 1 Example 2 Example 3 And this...WTF! Â The internet...I'm at a loss for words... Mmmm squirrel! Apparently that chick is making it seem far to sporting. Â Especially when "city squirrels" are just begging for it! EAT ME~!....please? If you have enjoyed the fruit of my insomnia and love of good beer...then I leave you with this. Â Is that Jeff Foxworthy?

    Political Change

Chops I have probably disagreed with everyone of your posts and been unduly negative in your general direction... ...but that is classic!!! What I mean is that I think I undstand your meaning, and it is spot on. Sad...but true.

    The Iraq thread 4

In 2003 17,229 people died by simply falling off things. Â Maybe congress will mandate that the country be covered in a soft Nerf foam. Would save $ for "universal healthcare" right? Â http://www.nsc.org/lrs/statinfo/odds.htm Sorry couldn't help myself. Ok seriously. Â I a bit concerned about the fact that "the war" seems less on the minds of many these days. Â For whatever reason its even less reported in the media. Â I guess when bad news decreases, theres less to report? The whole "things gettting better vs. things getting worse/staying the same" debate just kind of fizzled out. Oh well, the brilliant politicians will make sure things are dreary enough to report on again. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7049348.stm

    THE WAR, starting today

Oh my dear child! I didn't mean for you to get so upset! I promise to send you all my potential forum posts, so you can check that you agree 100% with them before they are submitted, lest you treat us all to another tanty No worries, cared about as much as I would for a fart in the wind. Â Haven't checked out the forum in a while. Actually yea it was pretty much implied. Haven't see that. Â Watched the documentary but didn't see anything about the director/producer in it. Â Will have to go and find that to watch it.

Pavlov's Dog (the Future of VBS/Arma?)

Iron+Cross, you seem to me to be the kind of person that wears a tinfoil hat to stop the CIA from reading your thoughts. That or you simply have way to much free time and lack a productive outlet.

    THE WAR, starting today

Uh yea. Â Thats why I apologized for the way I put it. Â You are a bit overly sensitive to be taking my agreeing with you as some sort of sarcastic "asshole" remark.

    THE WAR, starting today

Amen to that Flags of our fathers was ok but also pretty boring exept the end that was kinda sad but Letters from Iwo Jima was exellent and really gut wrenching, had to wartch it again in japanese cause it really was a intense movie. But once more i go offtopic, well i look forward to this documentary even if i find the fact bit sad that they only focus on one side. Anyone who watched "Flags of Our Fathers" and thought it was a good movie, knows dick about the history of WWII in the Pacific. Well movies are usually watched for entertainment rather than for historical info so your meaning of 'good' doesn't mean anything in this case. Doh...your right. Ok I should have simply stated that there were many things that could have been pointed out for historical inaccuracies, and left out the word 'dick'.

climatic changes, what do you think about that?

Al Gore... Unfortunately he dose as much to harm the cause as he does to help it.  The "do as I say not as I do," cardon credits  , oil and coal trust fund kid is not a proper leader for sensible change. Baddo your common sense approach is dead on.  Your not making "the sky is falling" claims, but making a common sense argument.  That we are continuing down an unsustainable path. Unfortunately the "11th hour" vs. "What me worry?" debate sucks the air out of the argument.  So far we have little to show for in the area of sensible change. The awareness of the issue is out there.  Now it's time for RATIONAL steps go get things moving by the common people, while science gets out of the public debate and goes back to academic review. You can disagree with my assesment all you want but the fact remains we are getting nowhere by digging trenches to hold the lines of the confliciting schools of thought. Like every other debate I see going on today, people seem to be more focused on anger and shaking their fist at the other side, rather than working together to provide sensible solutions.

    Last Tango in Bangango

Well done Johnny boy, well done. Â This is high quality, with a wonderful touch of humor. Thanks for a top notch SP mission experience, keep up the good work...we need it! I have nothing bad to say but I hope you will take your skills and expand on them to a create a larger scenario in new missions. And a campaign based on this story line would be a dream!

climatic changes, what do you think about that?

Uh yea...well, it seems we have found Gisen's polar opposite. Â Some "evidence" of this would be rather entertaining to read. Â And no, youtube video of someone ranting in their mom's basement converted to a room does not count. but maybe this dose.... GW on GW Ok sorry...but on a slightly more serious note, what happened to this move? 11th Hour Has this Global Warming movie become one of the biggest flops of all time? Â If you never heard of it then I guess the answer is yes.

    THE WAR, starting today

You obviously have not seen the documentary or even read what it's about. Â Of course that did not stop you from making inane comments. Do you come to these forums just to be some sort of contrarian because you lack other outlets? Get a hobby! Â If fact heres one for you. Â Read about WWII history, you clearly seem to be lacking in that area. Claiming the director was influenced by the current political climate, and that the film was swayed because of it is one of the dumbest things I have ever read someone pull out of their ass. Read and learn before your fingers move. http://www.pbs.org/thewar/ P.S. HA-ha! Â Guess what, Bill Hicks died of cancer. Â He was a funny moron!
