yes yes...raid 0 ftw. I'm able to host a private dedicated server, which we play all coop stuff like Evo, Domination, WarFare ect ect, while I play on the same pc. The Raptors@ 10,000 rpm's do make a difference.

It must be the routers then. Mine works on Vista. It only needs to be done on the server pc......my Vista pc connects to a W/XP pc thru home networking. If I uncheck the tick, we see the ?ping.

Open Windows Firewall, 3rd tab on top "Advanced" then, In Nerwork Connection Settings open the "Settings" button. a new window should open, In it go into ICMP tab, then check the tick "allow incoming echo request".

PunkBuster enabled games will be having issues with Windows 7 in multiplay. Several reports of playing 1-5 mins before getting kicked for "unknown windows api function". EvenBalance (PB), will not be supporting Windows 7 while it is a beta.

Maybe it's my monitor native 60hz only. I do not see better fps with sli on or off with ArmA. The game runs perfectly smooth with 1 VC. (1.15beta helped a lot) Using 180.84 beta, still, and setting the ArmA profile to single GPU. btw....any 1 else see this issue? Since day 1......anytime I disable SLI in the ArmA profile with Nvidia CP (choosing single GPU)....the only way to get SLI back in it, is to reinstall the drivers. Even with the 18*.... it shows "Nvidia Recommended" after disabling, as an option..... but the no SLI indicators proves it's not even on when playing ArmA.

I agree with this change. It is 1 of the "thumbs up" over MFCTI. Especially since it's a must to spread factories far from HQ due to supply vehicles.

Our group likes it. It's better with TrackIR. Curves seem smooth to take now, using arrow keys and or mouse... w/without TIR.

.48 is WHQL (I had flickering with them) They are up to a recent 181.00 beta I've yet to test. http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1671 180.84 and Vista SP2/beta have my pc running great. The only issue is ArmA with SLI. Even with SLI disabled in the Nvidia ArmA profile..... the game is running smooth as silk.

Vsync either way doesn't stop the flickering. (178.24whql does) I must say though, the combination I'm testing from the list above, has been well worth it, with beta 180.84 from Nvidia. Before: Testing beta drivers would just push me back to the previous whql.....(just changing ArmA video options would cause a freeze or BSOD from Nvidia). Today: 50+fps, mostly all high above normal settings, 10,000 VD. 40+ in heavy forest northern area. I'm able to float through any video changes and remain stable, SLI on or off. I still get flickering with SLI though. I'm leaving SLI disabled in the ArmA profile for now.....It feels like a new game.... going to play.

Latest driver meaning WHQL? I always end up going back to latest WHQL after betas get tested. I'm using 178.24WHQL (no problems), the 180.60 and .70 betas caused severe flickering for me in ArmA, but FarCry2 and Crysis were sweet. Also, if not playing any PhysX games, try disabling it in the Nvidia CP. It took me 3 un/reinstalls to get the 178.24 working again.......even using Driver Cleaner.
