    yes 2 gunners on both birds.

    on the 53 will think maybe adding rear ramp gunner.

    With MMA Full GL all the AI air units get automatic countermeasures. In case you need just to add manual countermeasures available for human pilots for vehicle classes not included into that Full setup GameLogic:

    This provides RWR, flares (15 packs of a max of 15) and HUD with navigation info displaying default map locations and mission created locations.

    Note that first parameter of mando_assignvehicle_by_type.sqf is an array of one or more classes that will use same hud setup for the indicated position of the player (second parameter: 0=driver, 1=gunner, 2= commander)

    this vid is to check the possbilety cargo fire meaning you can put some of the cargo in the "free" door and ramp so the can give more fire support to the gunners. and when the heli land the just van unstrap them self and dismbark.

  2. Will the CH-46 have the MK-19 on the starboard side hatch? And will it have the chaff and flares scripts implemented as well as with the CH-53 varients? Thanks

    as far as i know what i looked in wiki and other places didnt see that you can put a mk19 on the bird..

    i remamber it on cod mw but for now both will have .50 mg .

    as for the flares will look in to it.

    this mod is about the usmc operation iraqi freedom.

    i will update more this week with all the detail and screens needed + the full planned addon list.

    The CH-53/HH-53 has much combat experience during its lengthy service, with the U.S. military during the Vietnam War and as a Special Operations helicopter, and the Israeli Air Force.

    The CH-53D served alongside the CH-53A through the rest of the Vietnam War, with both types performing a final service at the end of the conflict in performing evacuations of personnel from Saigon and Phnom Penh.[1]

    U.S. Air Force HH-53 Super Jollies were the primary search-and-rescue helicopter in Southeast Asia between 1967 and 1975, inserted the Operation Ivory Coast rescue team into the North Vietnamese prison camp at Son Tay in 1970, and carried the Marines who attempted to rescue the crew of the SS Mayagüez. Marine-flown Navy Sea Stallions were the rotary-wing element of Operation Eagle Claw, the attempted rescue of American hostages in Iran in 1980 that ended in disaster and embarrassment at "Desert One".

    The CH-53 is operated by the United States Marine Corps and Air Force in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is also operated by the Navy in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom throughout the region, deployed out of a squadron in Bahrain.

    The CH-53D is due to return to the middle east in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. It will be performing the combat roles that the V-22 Osprey is not able to conduct at this time.

    Known colloquially as the "Phrog", and used in all Marine combat and peacetime environments since its introduction.[10] Still regularly flown by the Marine Corps, its longevity as a reliable airframe has led to such mantras as "phrogs phorever" and "never trust a helicopter under 30".[11]

    CH-46E Sea Knights were used by the USMC during its 2003 invasion of Iraq. CH-46Es transported personnel, brought supplies to forward arming and refueling points (FARP), carried ammunition and various tasks. Marine CH-46Es and CH-53Es carried US Army Rangers and Special Operations troops in a mission to extract captured Army Private Jessica Lynch from an Iraqi hospital on 1 April 2003.[12]

  5. Hi guys, I have my character with goggles, and i want to add an user action with which the player can choose what do to: to put goggles on or not. I added the right section, configured in my cfgSkeletons and cfgmodels, but the animation doesn't play!

    There's the user action "goggles on", but they don't want to go down on my unit's eyes... is there a way to have it working?

    its in how you define it in the add action or in the skeliton.

    now i cant tell if you did it right or not but show the script you made cause all other animation i did with vehicles and men works.

    A.looks great hmmwv if you may add some details:poly,interior,tes size.

    B.to all that ask "please release as stand alone and as a mod" i really dont understand the impatience of MOST of the members here in the forum,why are you so in a hurry?

    why cant you wait until the people that make the addons see fit yo release them,i am really tired of posts that SPAM this forum with no useful comments.

  7. Many thanks, your absoultely correct. It's the problem of mass. And now all could work well.

    By way, I also got another strange problem. Some models could be seen in O2 editing window but couldn't be found in external view. And then after modelling, they couldn't also be seen in game. Any idea for such strange problem?

    from the top of my check the first lods and see if there are correct and not empty..

    but i will need to see the p3d i myself cant get a spot on answer like that..

  8. I would like to import a tank model to another addon pack. And try to use the config of that addon. But a strange problem encountered. The tank couldnt move and would fly to sky even shot by a fire of rifle! What the damned problem it is? Could anyone try to give a help??

    problem a:if you can try to show the config.if you import the config and changed the the name of the p3d or put it in a new dir.

    problem b:if i am not mistaken thats a problem with the mass in the geometry lod you need to give it more mass.

    I heard most people who turn 16 have to do national service?...

    I could be wrong, but I think it's mandatory that they serve three years after turning 18, I'm pretty sure it's 18. Not surprising seeing how Israel is surronded by enemies and is in almost constant state of war.

    its 18 or when you Finnish high school.whatever comes first.

    and service is for 3 years.

    any way as an ex armor solider tanks more then planes..(kidden helicopters are my weakness).

    I am stumped as to how I can radio a unit to move and stop like in those escort mission in the campaign??

    I tried making 2 radio trigger 1 with "sold lockWP true"

    the other with "sold lockWP false"

    but nothing happened.

    Any ideas?huh.gif

    if you mean you wrote in the trigger "sold lockWP true" you need to add the "=" so soldlockwp=true.


  12. well basically you make 3 squares that each on represent the view.

    (top/front/side)

    then you make them as the size of the model(again each one is visible to the appropriate view)you use the background mapping.

    you select each view and select the appropriate square and you press cntrl-b so it will view the blueprint in the background.

    open a new lod and start using the blueprint in the background.


  13. @SFC.ITZHAK: Looks quite impressive. Will make a good place to sit and eat caviar while i watch my USMC company land on the beaches. :P

    @Commando84: IIRC, they are meant to shoot down strategical bombers, so the range is very very large in Arma Terms (way more than several sahranis). Saying that, these will actually make great targets and will give a new meaning to 'Neutralise AA before gunship support' biggrin_o.gif
