Map features: ------------------- *25.6x25.6 km *street signs/roadsigns/distance signs/ *300+original buildings (industial, military, commercial, residential), plants/trees, misc objects to furnish buildings and bases with. *Working AI paths for each enterable building. (good for sending a AI squad into a building) *Underground bunkers and tunnel systems (including detainment facilities/interrogation bunkers/supply caches/troop bunkers *some of the plants/vegetation will be crop fields/orchards (papyrus plants, loquat and orange fruit trees, wheat and barley) *many types of supply crates/cammo netting configurations *new sandbag fortifications and barbwire *new high-res ground textures *All highways/roads/juctions have proper road signs, speed limits, distance signs (5km to city of Jhasmi) *bonus* fictional Ft. Here are some pics of a NVA/VC bunker im workin on to include in a new addon im working on called Vietnam Bunkers. sorry for not getting back to anyone on the subject of Dak Nhe. Right as I was wrappin up work on the island a little back my old computer conked out on me... I stopped work, then got a new comp, and by that time priorities had changed. Dak Nhe will most likely live on in the game Faces of War, which I have modding for as of lately. There may be some stuff coming out for Armed Assault but I really dont know at this point in time.

Well, you're much too kind with words... Thankyou, I am currently using an ATI X1650 pci express video card to play ofp. I usually make sure i have high-quality anisotropic filtering enabled and 16x AF selected. The reflective water you see in game pics is from Kegety's good DXDLL utility which enables further options/features to OFPS capabilites. Kegetys can sharpen your Mipmap LODS up a little bit as well but at the cost of performance... The map is complete, I am now just having a couple people doing the final testing for me to make sure its ok. Merci Anderson

Well, with this little RungSat map its slightly dif then DakNhe in req. Â This map requires no fog to be implemented but still rather short view dis. Currently i get about 25-30 fps on this map with properly built missions (ie enemy spawns, is not always present on map etc).

Well, been a while but im back... had some system issues, got a new system which came with (gasp) vista on it. Problems ensued but some are sorted out now so I should have time to finish this dang map....

As it stands 1.04 of DakNhe is able to be played now with no fog, but 500 viewdis. Seldom though will you come across an opening (with the exception of waterways) that is larger than your view area...
