Sorry Loony;) Â Para summed it up perfectly. Heres some pics of a little project ive been working on called Pacific'43. Â The intention of this map will be mainly for MP games. Â It is a defend the island type map. Â The Japanese have coastal guns and a radar station set up on the islands main hill. Â The Japanese will also have an airfield to support their activities on the island. Â Â An old photo effect was added to pics. Pacific'43 ( MP map ) WIP hmmm Afrika Korps would be fun... Yeah, was just taking a break as SPK said, apologize for no notification, project is still continues. A buddy from Unsung provided me with a nice little DEM of a certain area in Vietnam, looks quite good, andthe island will probably be named now according to the information I gather on this particular area of Vietnam.

Maybe...........? Â Love the WW2 stuff guy, WW2EC was one of the spots I always used to go for my addons when id get a -mod=@ww2 folder goin! Actually, Ive wanted to do a Pacific Island ever since seeing The Thin Red Line. Â I'd def consider doing this! Â But there are no good marines out there (sounds so bad:P)... Â WW2 era. Â Will definitley keep this in mind. Â A DEM would make life much easier...hint hint...but this would have to be after TucSong. Â I have alot planned. Anderson

An old French bunker. I recomend that when people get TS, run it with Modulsky. Â The blues of the sky match the ground quite well. The Tropical sky 3d wraparound mod by Yaciek is allright, but it is far from a version I would use without being annoyed constantly by the loose threads (seam in backround image, sun shines through backround image etc, cannot achieve water reflections/bumping from DXDLL with Tropical Sky running either..) French bunker interior Newer version of French bunker settled in mud on riverbank Second piece in old French fortifiactions

K, with mist set to 1/2 and view distance @ 500, 25-30fps with 32 west, vs 32 east spread across map. Will get better as more LODS are added... My sandbags and bunkers are performance hogs until I get a good set of LODS finished

Ok, I know some are getting anxious for the release and thats great to know, and there are 3 main things I'm gonna atleast have examples of for the beta: VC/NVA bunkers, and several tunnels. Â I have village shantys but no village objects yet. Â Once I finish 3 or 4 more bunkers, and get some terrain issues wrapped up I'll release the public beta. Â There is tonnes more stuff that is planned on being added. Anderson

the ai view blocking for one plant patch is made of more than one block to enable gaps in the view blocking of that particular object enabling friendly AI to have a better chance at detecting and engaging the enemy when lying in the bushes.. I have a Chain of Command mission I am planning on releasing with the island. Â As it stand right now, AI firefights are quite entertaining to watch. Â Firefights up to this point that I have observed have ranged in distances from up close at 25-50m to longer range sniper engagements at around 150-175m with friendly AI being capable of aquiring targets across the Thouc Bien river using the m21 rifle.

Thanks man! Heres a little sample video of the AI viewblocking implemented on vegetation in TucSong (with ongoing help/support from Polish GI and CJ525) view block example
