    http://grom.flashpoint.pl/cfog/misje/index_ang.htm I do not know how many of those are in English already, but most of them are very good and very realistic (mostly by Cooba) with a lot of gameplay. There are FDF and WGL missions. There are CFOG missions too, but those are for a custom addon pack. If you are interested, I can ask our translator which missions are translated already.
  4. I would like to share my idea about multiplayer campaign, which i plan to initiate in Octomber 2005. It takes some ideas from role playing. I was deliberating with some people about theatre of this campaign but I finaly decide to make some fictional scenario about French Foreign Legion and some small island controled be French-friendly regime. There is a puch and regime can not handle it due to economic and politics problem, so it beg French government to help. There is much more in the story, for example regime was against UN, so UN is against helping regime (regime have been breaking human rights etc). Eventualy French goverment is sending one Parachute Regiment of Foreign Legion to solve the problem and beat rebels. It is only the start. I have more ideas for some in-game events which will change some things in the situation. But this is a secret to make this campaign more interesting for players. About playing. Every player have to provide name and role of his soldier (only rifleman, grenadier, machine gunner, AT specialist, medic). Some of them will be promoted on start to corporals, one of them to sergeant (most of them I know already, so I know who is good leader). Missions will be played one per two weeks. One game session will take 1-1,5 hour. Two weeks before mission players should produce list of them to give a missionmaker (mainly me) a idea how much players can play (I know usually there will be only 60-40% of them during mission). So missionmaker with a list o players (and soldiers, with names, ranks and roles) will design some easy, but realistic mission. We will use TS of course and we will behave like a soldiers (obeying orders is basic for the campaign, who will not obey, will be kicked and banned from the game for good). If someone will die, he lost his character and if he want to continue playing, he have to make a new soldier, starting from private. After mission there will be full report made by commander, where will be informations about whole mission, losses, wounds and brave or very accurate actions. He will then give some promotions (based on how much missions someone made, and how good he behave) and some awards and medals (including purple hearts for wounds and death). The reports will be added to others and this way we will have whole records of campaign including statistics about losses, missions completed and medals. Of course we will add to it some climatic screens and that way we will make interesting story about some fictional conflict and some small unit of Foreign Regiment. I would like to add, that I plan to start an enlistment for the campaign in middle September and at this moment I think it will be only Polish language campaign for Polish players. But maybe someone wants to make something similar or my idea will help him to develop something much different. Regards Grey aka Shinbusan

    You can always add disclaimer or something, where you clear, what you think about brave vietnamese men*. And you can add some missions, where you attack GIs and show how honorable were some VC. But lets do not make some side better then the other. War is brutal and primitive. Almost all soldiers are getting to be a beasts. No one who wasn't at war, can understand it and feel it. And by game or movie you can't make a war to be fully felt. And thats all... *hehe, I like political correctness "brave men and women" . I think Americans have more problem then any other country with racism and that is why Americans are the most political correctness nation too. I know why, but it is funny.

    Laser, thx. I saw today Full Spectrum Warrior demo. Great tactical game. But there is one nice feature, one of the team leaders has "NYPD" wrote on the rear of the helmet. Something, what his man can easy recognize, but what tell nothing to his enemies.

    In the battle, in a fight, the Squad Leader and the Fire Team Leader must not be "easy recognizable", because if they are, they become a target of high priority for potential Sniper or Advanced Marksman. It is for us, when we play in fireteams, squads, and can't recognize who is a leader, and who is in your squad. There is a lot of chaos, if you can't recognize your team mates. And it is only a example, you don't have to show who is team and squad leader. You can just sign team / squad. Everything else you can see by his weapon.

    One request. I like very much one special thing in BAS Rangers - custom arm patches. I use it instead of using tags in multiplayers. Every squad has his own color, every team has his sign, every team leader and squad leader can be easy recognizable. Could you add such feature to yours Rangers? Here is what I have don for example:
