I barely use ACE as I dislike too much realism crap in computer games so I cant promise anything in this field, however, I believe Reezo could come up with possible fixes. ---------- Post added at 17:50 ---------- Previous post was at 17:36 ---------- Excuse me for double posting but I felt necessary to make a new one. As promised we are releasing yet another version of the animation mod (we feels weird;), but Reezo has done an awesome job putting scripts together and doing tons of tests on the pack as well as gave pack of interesting ideas that he well deserves the credit not less than I do for the whole work). Due to lack of time however, this is a Release Candidate version as it will contain some new bugs, hopefully fixing the old ones. It does NOT contain new calibration missions so please scrim through controls in the readme or on the wiki page @dev-heaven to get an idea of what and when to press (For instance climbing over obstacle will trigger only when close to a climbable fence and back to wall will work with most of chernarussian/takistani buildings and fences however it might fail to work at custom islands).     Nobody plays anymore, atleast for MP

    The way of playing MP we knew from OFP or other dynamic games is long dead and will not come back, probably not even in ArmA3 so what you are left to is basically crappy public coop or boring private coop :). Even I finally realized that for real pvp action with no gay no-respawn/hour-long-base-travel-time, I had to put ArmA2 on the shelf.

Hey guys, sorry for a slight delay in the release of 0.25 however due to some personals I was not able to pull it off and the work on the scripting side continues as it has still quite a way ahead of it compatibility-wise. Still we did what we should and only small bug fixing is left so please expect the release 0.25 on Sunday evening.. Use the link in my signature to give us some last minute feedback or requests. The release, as always, will contain some small surprises and stuff that was mentioned so I hope you will get a grin or two while testing it out ;)

  8. Real men play against real men :) When having to choose between being a seagull on a server with JIP and not be able to enter the game at all (forced to wait in lobby for that matter), I would most likely not want to waste my time on flying around.

    I will be happy to play ArmA3 as long as there will be a competitive scene existing. The moment I am forced to play valhalla/domination clones being nearly the only public maps available - it's over (how long can you torture yourself?) :P

    Handedness

    It will be mighty difficult, not so easy as stated by PuFu. Most of weapons use custom hand-based animations which automatically IK hand to spot on the weapon (namely - right hand to the pistol grip and left hand to tactical grip or front grip). To be able to fire from left hand side, programmers would need to implement additional hand animations state and blend it into the engine. Judging from work overload and really low priority as this doesnt change anything in the gameplay - i don't think it's going to happen. Personally, I would much rather see custom reload animations instead of left handness.

  15. I dont get a single word you wrote up there. The modification does not replace any files so therefore no backup is necessary.

    The Witcher 2

    Finished some time ago. I must say it's one of the best RPG games I have played. I probably had more fun only when playing Kotors. Still, despite the combat system, which is impressive and playable only after you actually get the adrenaline bar and multikill skills but totally uneffective especially when fighting against several enemies, it's a top shelf product, although very very short :(. I also missed fast-travel, but then again it's role playing, right? :)

    Cover system for Arma3?

    Please mind that my animation pack cover system was designed for specific purposes such as: peaking around the corner, delivering two-way grenade throwing system and more control over blindfire. The shooting is just "unrealistic" addition. I think, when you get used to it, it's pretty handy.
