Buildings and non-tree vegetation also need animation and transparency. Grass sway, grass transparency, doors, windows, etc.

While I do agree with you on the campaign/mission/showstopper bugs (I find those a bit more relevant since they're the first impression on people), you also have to realize how many things the engine exposes to the players/modders. A 100% bug free product is unreachable goal for any developer with that in mind. With most games a bug-free story mode and missions is enough, while with ArmA there's the editor and the entire modding capability. If you look at the (abridged) list PvPScene made, you'll see that great many bugs listed there are not huge deals when you just look at the core campaign/missions, but are very important to the contributing community at large. -

I'm able to get the artifacting on Proving Grounds with latest beta, but capturing it with PIX (single frame keypress) has so far been impossible, since it appears for a frame or two. Need better reaction times. :( Some patterns i noticed (probably meaningless, but what the hell): - There is usually foliage in the same screen area as the artifacting - Rabbits are also in the same screen area - When you've discovered general area where you can spot the artifacting, it can be triggered by opening the quick-command menu (but not reliably enough to time it for PIX capture). -

Are you sure you have the "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder" ticked in the options below the message? You can turn on "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" from here. -

It just toggles the majority of the HUD on and off as far as I could tell. -

There are three action menu items associated with the throttle switch: Off, Idle and Full Power, off doesn't seem available just by clicking, you have to hover the mouse over the switch, then select the Off state from the action menu. -
Congratulations and thanks to everyone who contributed to this excellent release. Messing about with Everon in the editor is bringing back a lot of OFP memories.
