If USMC gets a scripter, then yes it will.

Possibly an action as Photoshops actions enabling you to retrace your steps. I.e. You make a simple model, save your action, then send it to someone else, he/she opens your action, plays it and voila! sees what were you doing/made...but I could be waaay wrong

Wireframe mode does not load any textures so you can see trough objects.

King Homer released PSG-1 as BETA version, I consider it the best PSG-1 out there. Great work King Homer, I hope you're planning an silenced version too.

Aye aye chief! So did you guys decide? I too want to find out what machines are OFP Fans using.

OFP pre-resistance not compatable with radeon?
Sniperwolf572 replied to POPKA's topic in TROUBLESHOOTING
Well compatibility patches should be done for: OFP CWC Campaign OFP RH Campaign BIS Camel addon -
Try relpacing buldozers flaspoint.cfg with your OFP flashpoint.cfg (BACKUP BREFORE DOING ANYTHING)
-
If not via new addon, how do you plan to restrict it? In mission editor?
-
If you want I can merge the two files into one with some audio software i got.

OFP2: No Leaks! OFP2: WE NEED NEW HARDWARE! OFP2: I never saw the flash so I'm back. OFP2: More music by Seventh. OFP2: More TechSupport Serious: OFP2: Rolling Thunder OFP2: Island Wars OFP2: Last Stand OFP2: Last Resort
-
I think both will be implemented. Flashbangs are possible on DX8 even, CQB will probably too because most of the OFP community wants it.
-
You already have that feature in OFP. Try some of the custom addons to see what I mean (DKM's Howitzer or TOW)
-
OFP doesn't have video support (As in playing any type of video: .avi or such) and I have thousands of times wanted to play a character from the cutscene myself so he can behave more real, and it could be implemented in menus so that at least menu wouldn't lag (I'm not saying that OFP2 will lag on decent machine, but some islandmakers today overdo it for the menu and I barely can move my mouse). And probably it would be great to implement on objects such as TV's.I think that command setTextureVideo would be nice to have. What do the others think?
-
Well I never intended to have video's of humungus sizes.I suppose you all know that with major games in the past year as Call Of Duty or Need For Speed Underground you have those little videos with the small insight in the game brefore you play.Well you could make something like Beggening video and the end video for the campaign.Even so you could add real life video's to introduce a player to the enviroment or such. One more positive thing is that when video plays it shouldn't lag if 50000+ units appear in it so you could make a massive battle videos lagfree... IMHO I would rather download 2 videos witch weigh 10 MB rather than watch long laggy cutscene. I.E. You had both options for Ghost Recon.

Are you sure you are running the FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.exe it happened to me once when I ran the original OFP's exe.

OFP2 on DVD / 4 CD's
Sniperwolf572 replied to gandalf the white's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - SUGGESTIONS
Yes I agree, DVD's all the way. But I think this topic is somewhat useless since BIS is currently thinking of making community wide research on PC Specs. -
Mission Editing Competition
Sniperwolf572 replied to Commando84's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Placebo if you still need help I suggest checking your PM's. -
Well yes, but slideshows aren't effective as videos.
-
True but as Ondrej (Suma for all you ingorants) said you can edit the text file to suit your liking.

Application all the way.Ah Hotshot said I trust BIS more than....someone who I trust. Even as Pappy said I would give out more useful info and statictics would come up much clearer. As far as I'm concerned I probably won't buy new machine till OFP 2 comes out. OFP wasn't one of those bestsellers that went out like EA Games cra* that isn't half good as the OFP.IMHO you could make a game look nice AND keep the preformance on low-end machines like mine. From my experience a decent looking texture can make better visual effect than extra 10 faces. I just hope this isn't an information collection on witch BIS will decide to go with NVidia or ATi,and even if BIS is thinking about it,it would be way unfair to the OFP fans that have the other brand and can't play/have good preformance on the rival card etc.IMHO it would even cut the sales in half because users of the "other" brand would refuse to pay more money on more upgrades. Off-topic: As I noticed Devs pay a lot of attention to this topic and I would suggest for them to lead some kind of Developers Diary in witch we all could get fresh info on our favourite games progress, and not to hide the game until release like those EA bast****.

DXDLL 1.0 (not Geforce MX compatible)
Sniperwolf572 replied to kegetys's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Somewhere I heard (read) you Silent 'n' Deadly saying (writing) that you have Nvidia GeForce 2 MX. That is probably it, our (I have same card) graphics cards do not support pixel shaders so basically you can't see those fancy effects. But hey I happy with the few stuff I can use like FPS counter, hiding HUD and screen capture tool. -
Glad to help.
-
That stuff is old,but useful tho,at that time JDSF wasn't at BOH.

New Graphic Effect by xenom
Sniperwolf572 replied to xenom's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Yeah yeah I know I figured it out right after the post while I was testing it some more,I didn't figure that the distance parameter was "the distance parameter" but the how much will the effect be behind the plane, sorry for the stupid question. -
Actually the kit is pretty self explanatory in readme, only requirement is for you to have Adobeâ„¢ Photoshopâ„¢
