In real life it doesn't have a hangar, neither does it have one ingame... Â If I'm wrong, please correct me, but the photo's i've seen of the Visby don't look like have room for a chopper to store. Also, the Visby page on Naval Technology says that "Preparation has been made for the installation of a hangar on the ship" meaning a heli hangar is not on the current existence of the Visby class corvette... edit: forgot to put the url between the url tags ;)

What to say about the Visby... well, it has a 57mm Bofors cannon and the whole thing still needs a helluvalot of work [edit] 57mm is what it has atm, other weapon systems are being considered..

had that planed stalled or was it in freefall or something when you took that pic? Its just it looks a little odd when you look at the trails.... Well.. I just flew straight into the sky.. and then shut the engine down and pressed "s" for the airbrakes.. and let me fall to the rear.. then it turns itself.. and you can continue flying.. looks/sounds like a Tailslide maneuvre to me

yeah totally agree, add-on making is a nice way of spending time, always fun to create something from scratch, watch it 'grow' and eventho it kicks back sometimes, the satisfaction of pbo-ing the final version is great It doesn't matter if you create crap addons or great ones, for me, it's the fun that counts anyway, addons imo should be created for fun not for cash, so I voted no

yes Suma, I was aware of the new .exe file, and I also tried the -nomap string (reading readme files has its use ) but that didn't resolve the infamous green screen, like I said before in this thread, OFP without addons works like a charm, but with addons over about 25 mb is a no-go

Just installed 1.92 BETA and loaded some add-ons... and I'm sad to report that OFP starts up just as green I know the 1.92 is still in BETA stage so I hope BIS can resolve it in the final version of 1.92 [edit] for anyone without the bug, this is what it looks like very explaining isn't it? if your video card supports it, try Anisotropic Filtering, works great..

I was at Mediamarkt (Rijswijk ZH, Holland) last friday and they had about 5 copies of the GotY version and about the same amount of the good old 1.00 version But I guess you're not willing to take a few hour drive to Holland just for OFP ;)

only thing I know is that they can have transparency alpha channels (but Internet Explorer, unlike some other browsers doesn't support the png alpha channels) I dont know what other advantages it has, maybe cuz the compression is different it results in better compression/quality rates... I dunno [edit] btw, Blackdog, every link that goes to your site... results in a cool error screen "Oh dear.. a catastrophic error has plagued this computer! Run for your lives!" "error 404 - forbidden" (cool error page tho )

you can install 1.91 straight over 1.75. you think those 15 megs of 1.91 is just bugfixes? ;) any word on an ETA of 1.92 btw? (I wanna play with addons )
