Umm no... I don't think showing off nonworking stuff in videos is a good idea. It has all the turrets modeled in the airframe, they move properly but when you press trigger to fire, shells/bullets come out from the nose of the aircraft aligned perfectly with the axis of the aircraft.The ammunition is not aligned with sights, that's the problem.

Not working in safe mode either. Its not big deal though, I wouldn't even use community or quick links and search is quite handy to be opened in new tab anyways, so I don't mind. -

On the menu header when I click Community, Search or Quick Links, nothing happens. I need to open them into a new tab/window if I want to access them, or to copy the link. My firefox 3.0.8 works normally on all other forums and web sites. For example in Frugals world vbulletin and in OGN vbulletin these mentioned vbulletin features work OK. -
Hi wipman. In the first page of this topic you listed the second face template link for ofpec.com, I just tried it and it just returns download.php file for me. I went to ofpec.com and could not find its search feature anything but one face template from you. When I'm logged in to the old forums, the yellow notice banner won't show up either. As for new forums, the private message size limit is 5000 characters... why? I already ran into this and well beyond it (about 6500 chars) when I was discussing some editing issues which needed bit explaining. I highly recommend to increase it, nothing more frustrating than hitting such limit. Of course your average PM's are like one paragraph so... hmm dunno.

I agree. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm a total fucking pig in real life, you wouldn't believe the shit I do, really I should be ashamed of myself... but these places are GAME (EDITING) FORUMS, we don't need that stuff in here :( Its exactly the same as in Falcon 4.0 FreeFalcon RedViper manual, there was a lot of mentioning of some homosexual stuff and things like that, I was totally stunned that did I pick up a game manual or porno magazine. Keep the game and real life nasty stuff separate, please. Or perhaps the moderators could explain to me how Operation Flashpoint, Armed Assault, Armed Assault 2 or Carrier Command relates of bare back blow jobs with cum in mouth? I would like to hear that...

In the "menu" header there is options for: User CP, FAQ, Community, Calendar, New Posts, Search, Quick Links and Log Out. From this list the community, search and quick links which all have that "arrow down" wont work in my FireFox v3.08 (latest version). What am I doing wrong?

Terrain Editor Feature Suggestions I'm putting together a list of terrain editor features, such as: - 3D view with objects - Better handle of selecting zones something like a lasso tool - Better object replace function - Importing various terrain formats (OFP, ArmA, Wilbur, greyscale, etc) - Object 3D preview list (view object before you place it) - Object brushes with custom random placements - Object brushes with altitude & slope logic - Random object placement (whole map, selected region only, max min distance etc) - Region tool for selecting specific areas of the map - Road building like in wrpedit placing roads with arrow keys - Terrain editing blur option - Terrain erosion tool - Terrain vertices control with fine detail Please post suggestions of features that you think would make terrain editing more enjoyable. I'll update this first post as necessary.

This has been a good place for OFP and lately ArmA discussion monitoring. I'm just wondering how did I take so long time to register here: I was waiting OFP to be released quite some time and when the demo and finally the release came, my life just changed totally. Dunno why it took until November for me to register here. Anyways, while I'm not a big fan of the vbulletin, I'm looking forward to the new forums as I know from experience that in due time I'll get comfortable with it and thing are getting back to a business as usual. Hopefully the new forum can serve the huge load of people without any problems. Thanks for hosting the forum BIS, much appreciated. Looking forward for the next 7 years of forum new posts hammering

Doesn't ACE place dta\ACE\ dir and ACEIP dta\userconfig\something for the configs or are these really outdated method's I had in place?

I couldn't get it to find the userconfig, I had to replace the line in DFS_cartridges_core.sqf with this one:<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">#include "\dta\userconfig\DFS_cartridges\DFS_performance.hpp" Am I wrong? Okay I'll send you the current ammo classnames, that is a good start.

Even if some skilled PS elite would try to teach me how to do it myself, it would be appreciated also. Sure Vilas, if you give me the model I'll use it and add you into credits for that weapon. That couldn't be easier... in the shadow LOD choose the proxy selections, then do delete for the selections with right mouse click and delete, then delete them from the model with DEL key. Very easy

As a user its quite easy and fun to learn by just playing it (play my demo missions heh-heh, hmm). But then when you start to create your own missions, well there is of course the manual... but I'd say take a look at some existing CEX missions and just change units locations/types without much touching description.ext and you'll get started. When you want more custom stuff, when you need to edit the description.ext which is your standard OFP/ArmA config.cpp style stuff with classes. I'm willing to help tweak your description.ext if you run into any problems.
