Imagine a TrackIr 5 bundle with Arma 2 :) would be cool to get one. As for dslyexci, lucky you having both (it seems). btw, where the hell is my Special treatment :( -
I hope this is a joke thread. If game has no patches, the game is flawless...I hope you see the logic here. Patch is not just some random install feature.

well... that looks like a cutscene/scripted event to me :D (Althought I expect that we'll have hand signals, but they won't be same that are in cutscenes) -

trackIR 5 + Arma 2 = WIN??? -
Well, to speak atleast, they never showed or told us anything about the console parts, so I think it's either cancelled or still in consideration.

Possibly yes, by storing a flag file from Mission 3 and open the flag file during mission 7. What is flag file.basically all buildings have flag that can have only two arguments: True or False, if True, then that building is demolished. flagfile(s) would contain all buildings with flag argument and use another script(flagfile maker) that watches the health of building and writes the flagfile according the demolition. So during reading the flagfile, Mission 7 recognizes houses called: banya3_malek01: True Teremok_malek02: False and then re-constructs/demolishes/put it's health to zero, banya3_malek01 during loading/certain moment. (flagfile loader) That's how I would do it... -

Or maybe you just expect way too much :-/ If Bad Press is honest, then it's a good press, for telling about a game. Althought, all of you whiners about this 'bad press' seem as if giving a bad game a good preview/review is the way to go. (vice versa makes you angry too) -
1. starts at 3:04 mins. 2. Maybe it's a 3D render, whatever, atleast it's a fact that they atleast HAVE the animation(s). it's matter on implenting it in. (atleast the head renders they showed, i saw that black guy in the ingame videos, so all of this is plausible) PS. I want that sexy javelin assemblin animation for ArmA 2!
-
Er they showed it on E3 closed doors presentationthe animation.

Er... they had a preview :D (they just weren't allowed to show any footage from their time). Overally they avoided to rip it off. -

b.b.b.b..but OFPDR 2 has amazing night sequence. so it's achievable, and same people liked OFPDR's AI, who did a good job but still had minor issues. -

PS. And to be fair, from what I've seen it does actually look much better than Arma 2 :'/ (Althought, I am still bying Arma 2 for the sake of Flashpoint even if it's a miss, so Arma 3 will be a hit or a miss)

Well..ugh, to be fair, I haven't seen HUGE gameplay differences since DEC 2008 to FEB 2009. So I'd say, they have no time to make big changes, except by delaying. Possibly just polish the game and add already recorded, yet missing sounds. Small things like that. And are probably just working on a patches ATM. I wouldn't expect huge difference anytime soon.:j: -

you sure M4 can have a front-grip and animation for it? I mean....do we have a proper animation for reloading yet? -

Well, I'd rather have a floating point reticule with the gun visible (which usually disappears when watching right, thus making 3rd person more immersive), something like from Inflitration mod of UT (http://dslyecxi.com/botg_infiltration.html). Currently it's just....clunky? not interesting enought and I can only preach about it thousands of times. It's not 'smooth' enought in ArmA 2. and yes ;) you're right! ------------ But on the other hand, that's might even be the reason why this game is getting mixed feelings/previews. (clunky gunview might be to awkward they want to keep it steady instead). It should be rewarding to use floating point. -

Nope :p x1980 is more to left and the other is more to right. Also resolution scale difference. So I say this is genuine. But to be fair, it doesn't look anywhere good as the Alpha Arma 2 GFX. (character faces seem to be the only impovement, else is like fall down) -

the positions are WAY to similar to be two different images :D EDIT: No wonder, as they are. Deadfast you gave one exact link for both resolutions :protest: -

Game star TV has a preview of a video preview of Arma 2: (6mins), (preview is 9 mins) http://www.gamestar.de/videos/gstv/ on right panel. (no floating point, to keep the gun on screen :D) -
