  1. Hello guys. I need some help here. For a mission i'm making, i need to strictly limit the AI spotting distance to 50-100 meters. I tried to mess with the difficulty settings in CfgDifficulties, but no matter the value i typed, they were no change to the AI... Ultimately, i tried to modify the AI from the ASR mod, in the userconfig. This was a failure too. The "Incognito mod" wouldn't work as it would break my mission. In the event someone is nice enough to find a solution, i would like to know if i can then tune the "spotdistance" depending on the class of the soldier AI. (recon, sniper, etc..) I read a lot about that in these forums, but i never managed to achieve the effect i wanted. Finally, as a last question, does the "spotting distance" affects the detection of sounds around the AI ? That's all folks. Thanks a lot for reading.

    My personal computer is broken at the moment. And it is not THAT crazy to ask to see in a video the nice features of the mod. A lot of modders do that to advertize their work. I do it myself. So chill. Maybe it was clumsy to say that i was doubtful about this feature. But we all know the difficulty ArmA AI has when it comes to pathfinding inside buildings.. And since ArmA 1, I've seen a lot of mods claiming that 'my AI is finally using building' when it was absolutly not the case in the end. Just wanted to know if you had any video showcasing the feature you say your mod has. There aren't any video showing this type of behavior on youtube. That's all.

    I think i will need to see a video to actually believe you on that one. Building usage routines for AI has been all i wanted for some times now, so if it is true, then i'll be greatly happy. But i'm honestly doubtful. Wonderful job anyway!

  5. Could we customize where the AI waypoint are placed inside buildings? I find they are really poorly placed.... Is it moddable in any way?
  6. Hey Fabrizio. Some basic feedbacks on v0.14 : 1/ Awesome AI in Urban or Forest battle. They seem a lot more responsive and aggressive. They look a lot more human like. Good job on that. 2/In my opinion they throw nade just a bit too often. 3/In the single campain, with only bCombat and JSRS2.0 activated i can't pass through the 2nd mission "SItuation Normal". When i arrived at the survivor group they don't react in any way. It could be a problem on my side though so ill keep checking. Ok the issue was that Adams died from a grenade in mission 1. I did it again without having Adams killed and the next mission played well. 3*/ Adams can be killed by grenade in mission 1 when he is necessary to start mission 2 "Situation Normal" Ill keep testing the whole campain and write my feedbacks in this post. All in all, excellent job. If you keep improving the AI like that, maybe they will soon be able to fight inside buildings! :o)

  10. Is there any way to improve the AI when they fight indoors? I'm trying to make a Raven SHield Mod and this issue is a deal breaker at the moment.. In the meantime...   15. Oh man :butbut: I was working on a Raven shield mod.. But if the AI is beyond repair in any Indoor fighting situation, i should work on something else i guess......... Well thank you for the intel anyway.

  17. Just out of pure curiosity: Would it be possible to prevent the AI to go in prone position when indoors? (I hate how they instantly go prone inside houses. It destroys the CQB feeling..)
  18. You have a new fan galzohar. I sometimes feel like i'm playing the Infiltration mod version 100000000.2. Thank you for that. That is brilliant. Some ideas/suggestions : 1-A heli insertion (we, attackers, all spawn in one big unarmed transport heli, and the leader decide where we will be dropped.) 2-Maybe we could all paradrop in one or two zone defined by the leader on the map. this would have to be at a set distance from the objective of course. 3-Presence of a few civilians to put some pressure on both sides. If too many are killed by one side they lose the round. That would force to check fire and reduce grenade spam, or any sort of spam actually. Thats it at the moment. Love you Rome

  23. Hello. I did a quick search and found out that no one is actually playing Arma 2 on a Macbook Pro Bootcamp. And i guess it is just logical as arma is a really demanding game. But i still would like some advice from you guys who know your way around Arma 2. In order to play smoothly, at around 30 fps, i need to play at 1024x800 and everything deactivated or on very low. Memory being on default. To me It seems to be really low value and i am surprised i cant get a tad bit higher quality from the game. Here are my specs: -Mac os Lion with last updates. -Bootcamp : Windows 7 64bits Home basic on a 160 GB partition. -A Core i7-2860QM@2,50Ghz -8 Gb ram -HD radeon 6770M 1gb -Oh and here are my launcher parameters for the beta = -nosplash -cpuCount=2 -exThreads=7 %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9 Any idea on how i could improve the perfs? Should i buy some more ram? Should i do a ramdisk? I'm not sure of that as i read somewhere that it wasnt really a big booster anymore with the last beta patches. Would a SSD bring significant perfs boost? I know i am limited by the laptop aspect, but in any case i wanted to get your opinion on that as i dont have other choice at the moment. Thank you.

DXGI_ERROR_NOT_CURRENTLY_AVAILABLE __________________________________________________________ Ill check on their forums to see what it means.
