I'm actually writing this on behalf of a friend who doesn't do the forum thing. Here's the details:
He can play ArmA SP but the moment he goes to the MP screen the game crashes to the desktop with one of those illegal operation messages. I don't know the contents of that but I'm trying to get it from him.
His system specs:
Acer Ferrari 4600 laptop
2GHz
X700 video (ATI)
1GB RAM
WinXP SP2
It can run ArmA, albeit on low detail. Everything is built into the laptop so I suspect any hardware issues will result in him needing a new system.
He had the latest drivers and service packs so that's not an issue.
Any thoughts?
