I have uploaded this mission to our dedicated server. Howewer, when I try to join the game it says "Session Lost". I've checked the error log and it says: What's wrong? We have ECS running on the server.

Why is everyone talking about "balance" here? I thought ArmA supposed to be about simulating thing rather than a supreme "balance game". A helicopter that happens to be able to shoot air targets shouldn't be much of a problem for the sim community I guess. IMO there's no problem with it rather than how simple the ArmA avionics modelling is.

Eh, you can hardly call ArmA a "simulation" for air vehicles anyway.

With new ironsights, the rifle looks like it's "floating" in the air. I think there's no way to get a vision like that while aiming. It should be much more zoomed and focused to the ironsights.

By the way, Vikhr missiles are laser beam rider missiles. The missile tries to stay in the laser beam projected from the helicopter. It does not home to the laser mark, it flies in the laser They can not be guided to laser designated targets.

I'm behind a router. I've fiddled with ICMP settings, disabled my router firewall, router NAT but still no sugar There's a setting about ICMP and pinging in router firewall settings, but it's already disabled. Oh, well

Hello all, I've recently set up an ArmA server on my older computer in house. It's all working good, except that nobody(including me) can get a ping on the server in in-game multiplayer browser. I have the ports forwarded that are listed in wiki (2302, 2303,2304,2305). I'm behind a router too, the computer has no firewall. I'm suspecting this is a missing port issue. Any help will be appreciated. Rak out.

I've done it, it doesn't work. Other people can ping my computer over internet fine(via command window), but still no ping shows up in ArmA browser. Thanks for the answer though. Edit: People can join fine, it's just the ping is missing.

Great work Eyeball. I've just checked it out for the first time, and it really gives the PR feeling I'm currently trying to get a public dedicated up (Insomnis Armed Rambos III), and will be running Devastation. EDIT: Is it possible to spawn on team leader? I think this feature recently got removed from PR, but IMO would be a good feature for bigger maps.

But still, Russian tank strategy also includes building simple tanks with a powerfull gun. T-72's 125mm 2A46 gun is well capable of penetrating the armor of an Abrams. Some sources even say that it can easily penetrate front armor well beyond 1000 meters.

I think T-72 hasn't gotten any proper detail work yet, so no wonder the one that was worked upon wins every time. Speaking of RL though, it should be a fair fight in close range. It's a matter of "who takes the first shot".

I think this looks great. ArmA is a better game for what PR wanted to do IMO. The only problem I see is clunky movement, which'll put off some PR fans who are used to BF2's fast and responsive movement. I'll try this one out ASAP. Is there a thread in PR forums about this one?

First, excellent work on the model.Second, I've watched your Youtube video and I think the reload sounds are a bit off. Especially the actual reload sound is a direct copy from BF2, I'm fine with that, but the sound is actually from an autoloader whereas Abrams has manual loading. So we should be hearing clunking sounds of someone clearing the breach, and putting a live round in it with some clunky sounds

I hope AI improvements will continue, as I see them as the major point of this mod.

I have one, it's cool but not a "must have" for ArmA IMO. You can only justify the cost if you're also into flight sims. Other than that, keep your money

I think there should be a better system years after OFP and ArmA, why not just adjust the armor zones that some zones would be "invincible" to small arms fire? I mean, tanks/APC's should be invincible to small arms fire rather than taking damage. It would be more realistic and makes more sense. I'm a new player, and trying to love ArmA, but learning small quirks like these putting me off.

Do you think 125mm smoothbore is "overpowered"? Well I tell, you IT IS. T-72 is well capable of getting an Abrams with one hit.
