Has there been any effort to make addons of the Leupold Mark 8 CQBSS? It would be nice to have a CMR-W reticle or Horus reticle for application on 7.62x51mm guns. -
TA31s don't have BUIS, but they can come with mini reflex optics like the Doc Optics or Trijicon RMR.

Whether this anti-aliasing method benefits you at all depends on your system and settings. I took these shots on Zargabad, where FPS is limited by CPU and system RAM (because ARMA2 is still only a 32bit application) due to the large number of in-game objects of the city. Clearly, the in-game "Very High" AA setting looks the best, but requires more video power. If you have power to spare, it's still the best option to use. The overhead power wires illustrates this best. Click on pictures for the non-scaled, full-resolution screen captures. No AA, GPU 1439MB VRAM, 45% load, 38FPS FXAA, GPU 1439MB VRAM, 50% load, 38FPS "Very High" AA, GPU 1750MB VRAM, 75% load, 37FPS -
Just because it's in the inventory and available doesn't mean it's actually used... for good reason. They have a choice if they want to use it or not, and most would not waste their time on the bulk and weight of the Mk23. I'd rather mod makers spend their time on updating the weapons such as the Mk18, which are actually used.

I'd really like to see two-eye shooting for ACOGs, like they're meant to be used in real life, instead of the current system where it's circular view and black background. I'm not sure it's possible but could the Biden Aiming Concept be modeled in 2D? It can probably be done a stereoscopic system using Nvidia 3D.

I just recently upgraded from 1.2.7 to 2.0(ACE). Is there any reason why I can no longer use the ACE ruck pack system and weapons on the back? The buttons are still there, but they're not longer enabled. Also, is there a guide somewhere on how to use the Mando support model? Thanks.

I have a problem right now where I've minimized the radio in the map mode, and I cannot bring it back to the foreground in order to call in a command. I can't double click on the radio, since that just leaves an X marker. Single clicking on radio doesn't do anything either. Does anyone know how I can maximize the radio again? Thanks.

I found the problem was not so much the position, but that it was InBack. I set it to 0 and that fixed the problem. I still can't maximize the radio if I accidentally click on it to InBack though. -
Spawning squads at a destroyable building

I was hoping to get some help on something that I'm trying to do. I'm trying to have a building that keeps spawning a squad once the previous squad has been entirely destroyed. I want the building to keep spawning these groups until the building has been destroyed. Does anyone know of an straightforward way to do this? THanks in advance. -

Why even bother with trying to come up with recommended specs now when the game is over a year away. In that time, we'll have Intel's new 22mm Ivy Bridge and Nvidia and AMD will be releasing their next generation of video cards. Instead of speculating on absolute uncertainties, people who want the best PC possible when the game comes out are better served by saving a few bucks every month and buying a new computer next year.

Does anyone play ARMA2 using 3 1920x1200 monitors with either Eyefinity or Nvidia Surround? I'm curious to see if this is even possible with a game that's so demanding on the hardware. -

Has anyone fixed BIS's Elcan Specter DR? It would be nice if the optic were properly switchable from 1x or 4x instead of being fixed at 4x permanently. It would also be nice to get the 1.5 or 6x for 7.62x51mm platforms. I would have figured that someone would have fixed this by now to make the optic actually worth using. Also, are there any addons with ACOGs with the Doc Optic or RMRs mounted on top in the wing mount? It would seem logical that these optics make it into ARMA2. -
Am I correct in thinking that there isn't a L129A1 weapon addon for ARMA2/OA yet? I bought the British Armed Forces DLC, and was quite disappointed that it wasn't included

These days driver support from the hardware manufacturer is more important than ever. I don't know what made me think that ATI would be up to the task now, since it's never been any good in the past. It's a shame because it's capable of building some respectable hardware. It really sucks that Crossfire is such a poor option. -

KAC and LMT have a close working relationship and I believe KAC may have done some work for LMT on the rifle. Regardless, I'm disappointed not to see this new rifle in the DLC pack. -

I have a feeling that 10.8 broke my Track IR. I'm having trouble rolling back to 10.7 now. Everything is broken. I was an idiot to give ATI my business for the first time in 15 years. I'm going back to nVidia and selling this stupid 5850, or putting it in a HTPC. ATI is too much bloody trouble for high end gaming. -

This kind of thing really should be integrated better in this day and age. I love playing this game, but I spend more time actually trying to install and run things properly than I do actually playing. I'm constantly getting errors with mods, addons and missions even though I follow everyone's instructions as best I can. This is the best, yet most user unfriendly game on the PC.
