G'day guys, The ADF mod is in need of some modelers/ scripters/ texturers. Due to some members haveing to 'take leave' for Real Life issues, alot of projects have been paused. The ARH Tiger is almost complete, however Dismembered is haveing issues with the internal cockpit, so any1 that can help PLEASE contact us, we'd apreciate it.

Here's a little suprise for everyone. Afrograph has been working on this for a few months now and has done a superve job with it. The MRH-90 is now flyable and will eventually have a fastrope script and a sling script (cargo carrying).

I find the Russian star formation as an extremly effective formation for defending a stationary object/area. Pics of what I mean: The Formation in mission editor (the T-80 in the middle is standing in for the object that the AA is defending). As you can see the formation is a star shape, the top shilka (the tip of the star) would be faceing the direction that hostile aircraft are expected to come in from. The formation in game with the stand in T-80 in the middle. An internal view from an aproching F-15 An external view from an aproching F-111. The expected (and usual) result from this formation. I found out about this formation in Act of War: Direct Action, they claim that its a typical Russian stationary AA defence formation. So I tryed it out with shilkas 1 day and quickly noticed that its reasonably effective And it doesnt have to be in an open area (I did it so that you can see the whole formation), so its a versitile formation.

I have a Harrier that flies like a chopper but was given afterburners to allow it to cruise like a plane, best harrier flying Ive seen so far.

Thanks, yes the old feel does help to show the planes are showing their age (most are around 20 yrs old). Thanks, and they are still being improved apon

It's been done to a C-130 model, so I cant see why it cant be done for that

I think that most people would like to know: A) Approx when in Vietnam is it set (if any specific time). B) What sides are planned. C) Exactly what models are you after. (EG: Are you alos after the Caribou and a M48 Patton tank addon as well as the Hueys). Those answers would hopefully help you get some interested addon creators

Where the heck is everyone getting it compared to a M113 It's based off the Lav's, it looks nothing like a M113, here ill compare pics for you's: Stryker: Lav/ASLAV: If you ask me it looks like they grabbed a lav and squished it in a crusher to make it more compact, then renamed it and gave it a new turret , looks awesome tho

I think the easiest way of doing this is for future moders/addon creators to work together in makeing new addons MP friendly (ADF mod is dedicated to makeing all of our addons MP friendly, and i think other mods/addon creators should also do this.). By shareing scripts that do work in MP, helping eachother clean out others scipts etc. To go through and make what you are suggesting is a good idea, but would always leave certain addons out that one person might not like, but others do. But still a good idea, and good luck if you go through with it
