    @ Lt HuNTeR - i am not sure whether two versions will be made it all depends on how much time it would consume. @ Ironsight - The pictured ARV is a WZT-2 which is basically the polish variant of the VT-55 and is polish made. This particular ARV has been used by the Iraqis in the OP Freedom / OP Telic war rather than Desert Storm. @ Hellfish - The ARV which you have pictured is the Type-653 if am a right and was also used by the Iraqis but that was most common during Desert Storm. We may plan to add this ARV at a later date

    Two pictures of an Iraqi appartment: Also with the question about the fog script i'll quote what hottentotten mike had to say "on the question of a user of the officail forum concering the fog: it is a brand new particle which is randomly placed in a certain area with an alpha value dependant on the height of its creation so the fog is the thicker the lower it is, and nearly tranparent at a height of 2 meters. compared to the recent screenshot i've scaled down the fog effect a bit due to playability reasons, but its' still very nice. i wouldn't recommend it to users of slower computers or for heli missions. the script is in no way related to that of bas. all brand new " Â

    I think it is the default desert island which comes with OFP. Just the plams and grass have been added to make it look different as they are part of our objects pack. We haven't actually started on the Baghdad map as yet.

    I am not 100% sure on the fog effects as i haven't done anything on that. But all i do know it is part of our objects pack and it looks good.

    It won't look amazingly improved due to it only being a teaser and we will be putting most of the effort in the final version of the Iraqis - but they won't look so bulky this time round. Will keep you posted as news comes in.

    Thank you for what you have said and i think you have brought up relvant points in your constructive criticism. With the textures i agree some of them are a bit washed off as you put it and these will hopefully be improved on when they go high-res - so i am pretty sure this won't happen in the teaser release unfortunately. About the soldier models yes they were based off the BIS default soldier and they do have those 'fat' looking arms which i have tried to make a little better. Will look into Lasers soldier models and see if we are able to use them as a base line for the model. With the 2 questions we have planned 2 maps of Iraq one being central Baghdad and the other being around Saddam International Airport (the second may change but we are just focusing on the first map which is in the streets of Baghdad and then we can see where things go from there) There will be one campaign and this will be played from an Iraqi perspective.

    Yeah will have to get in the habit of doing that - i have a few animation packs already - just never really got round to using them. But thanx for the idea and i will do this from now on.

    @ CanadianTerror - we will be having a few more different camos in just to give a bit more variety. About the green soldier i'll tell our texturer but i am sure it will be corrected when it comes to making a high res version of them rather than this. @ Adrenaline red - No vehicles or aircraft will be release at this moment in time, there are a few which have been modelled but they are still at a very early stage.

    Well this new teaser is a slight improvement from the last - but have been having words with the rest of the team and we are going high res with the soldiers as well as other stuff. So you will see a much better high quality Iraqi infantry from now on. Also i'll have to post some screens of our objects pack as we have loads of good stuff such as a completely new bridge, highway barriers etc.

    Right - well here is a pic of the latest on our teaser pack. We are at about 80% and have a little more configing to do as well as some lod issues - but once that is done it will be released!

    Right got some news - our teaser pack is under way in terms of config and putting everything together i will try and get it done asap with a quick internal test to see if there are any errors.     Our model of the LCAC is 5124 and that has a fair amount of detail. Have used it ingame on my pc and there seems to be no lag from that. But thats without textures and may have some more detail added to it.

    Well timeframe is hard to give but if you want a rough estimate i'd say a couple of months. As is stands the model is 95% complete and textures 5%. But if you want to have a go at this like you say as a test bed thats cool. For our LCAC all we really need is someone who could script it as that is something we lack in our mod. I like your two pics !! Â

    Thx, Thats sounds like quite a good idea. I do remember someone was going to try and make the old Zubr hovercraft try and work buti haven't heard anything from that so thats why the LCAC has been put on hold for now.

    Well we have the LCAC but work stopped on it ages ago - as soon as we have our Iraqi teaser out then i shall start moving work on the LCAC as the model is pretty much done and it has a few textures. The only thing we will need help for it how to get it to work as a hovercraft so if anyone has ideas they can pm me.

    @ MilesTeg - We have one set of Republican Guards at the moment they are the ones in the marshes. Still got a few more different camo versions of them to do. Not started on the Fedayeen yet either. @ Ironsight - we aim to have it as a full modification. More action shots to come over the weekend hopefully!
