The GeforceFX cards use the same unified drivers as the older cards and the image quality in the new 52.16 is much better than before. There are still some bugs but they are a change to better.

1.94 patch should fix the problem. Then start the game with FlashpointBETA.exe and the gunner aiming problem should be gone.

It's normal to see multiple svchosts running in taskbar. If you want you can open command prompt and type tasklist /m and you'll see what dll files the processes are using.

The problem is most likely in your sound card. I had reboots and crashes with my integrated sound card ever time a tank fired or something big exploded. If you don't have latest drivers for your card then install them and see if it helps. If not then try disabling EAX and if that doesn't work then try to disable hardware sound too.

The gfx cards are backwards compatible so you can buy an agp 8x card and it will work with your agp 4x motherboard. It just runs in agp 4x mode instead of agp 8x.

I found it a few months ago in a bargain bin (Yay Anttila! ) Too bad it doesn't work too well in Win98SE or WinXP. I've tried compatibility modes and millions of other tweaks in XP but it's not very stable and my Saitek X45 doesn't work very well with it either.
