I had those same problems and they were fixed when I updated soundcard drivers. What soundcard do you have?

Is there a virus scanner running on the background? A virus scanner might try to read the .exe-files and prevent you from deleting them. Try if you can rename the files to .txt or something and then remove them. If that doesn't work then disable the virus scanner for a moment and try to delete the files.
