    Anyone else think the pc only content might have something to do with how MS tried to force them to charge for content before? Also check out what they did with UT3. I think Epic is fed up with MS.

    i really don't get why people say that. how can you screw a company like microsoft by switching from the xbox over to a operating system owned by the same company?

    that picture reminded me that i once had a die-cast toy of one of those when i was little.

    just my suggestion for this thread.

    my believe is that the quality of the vehicle is never what counts (and that applies to both that aircraft discussed here or any other piece of equipment) but rather its how and where it's used.

    example:

    the Flying Tiger squadron in WWII flew aircraft that was outclassed by many enemy aircraft. but this squadron managed to down many.

    i don't see what sueing terrosts will achieve. they aren't going to be paying anything. so why waste time and money putting a case together? infact the idea of taking them to court does more harm in my opinion. it allows them to make a mockery of the court, the media will put it up in the headlines making it easy propaganda for their cause. sentancing them to death makes them a maytr, sentancing them to prison causes kidnappings in exchange for their release. better off just killing them in the field and moving on.

    5 years is a pretty light sentance imho. you can spend up to 40 years w/ a fine easily over 100k here in the states depending on how much you where pirating. my question is this:

    why is that when somebody in this community (OFP/ArmA) Plagiarize the work of a mod maker who spent only their free time making, the natural response is to go completely ape-shit on the individual who stole the others work, but when it comes to a company that employees thousands who all earn their living by researching and developing all this technology that everybody seems to take for granted its interpeted as acceptable for some reason. companies loose billions because of piracy, i would say their reaction to this is quite reasonable.

    i read in a IGN article that the robots will speak. Peter Cullen who voice acted Optimus is supposedly going to be the voice actor in the movie. but Frank Welker who was the voice actor of megatron isn't going to be in the movie. he was apparently replaced w/ Hugo Weaving.

    the RAC's Black Hawk, i really hope that is just a fill-in. I was kinda hoping that the RAC's would have other equipment that wasn't from the US. the M16's they carry already make them look like US troops. fortunately theres Skavens RAC's

    as for old man w/ the red bandanna, he doesn't look too bad. just loose the red bandanna and give him a army doo rag:

    i don't remember ever seeing the mi17 w/ rockets ever strafing a area since i got the game. the mi17 in ofp certianly didn't have any problems strafing w/ rocket fire. just put yourself ontop the castle tower in everon w/ a rifle and shoot at a hovering mi17 w/ a rifle. damn thing turns towards you and probaly empties have its arsonal in the first pass biggrin_o.gif

    never heard anybody complaining about camping at least not when i was playing on the bezerk server. in fact, i do it all the time since im not any good at close fighting. but usually i or any other camper who sits in a spot for more than a minute ends up dead.

    I have this simple question but also intended this thread for other questions people may have after my question has been answered.

    the question:

    Why did the US army ax the M8 Buford?

    the armored track vehicle w/ a 105mm main gun that's not a tank but a "AGS". duno why they call it that, but it looks like a tank to me.

    i saw that on G4. that is pretty slick. especially where you can upload and d/l things to mp3 players and memory cards. although i don't know if i would want to use it as a coffee table and put any drinks on it.

    some more stuff for SLA and RACS

    a MBT (something older like a M60A3 or something similar like a Chieftain or both)

    a Puma helicopter

    a Huey Gunship

    a Truck for transporting troops and support vehicles(no re-textured 5ton truck something that would compliment those 4x4's they already have)

    a BMR600

    a Mirage 2000 and or A-4AR Fighting hawk or both

    for SLA

    a BTR 70

    a T64

    a BMP3

    a Mi24/25

    a Mig 23

    and maybe convert one of the Datsun pickups in the game into a technical

    YEA i know what everybody is going to say Manson=freak. I used to think so to until i decided to give him the benefit of a doubt that if you don't pay any attention to what he's doing on stage (or in some cases what he is doing to whom), his music is actually pretty sweet, so heres a couple (he doesn't really do anything gross in either video, so don't worry)
