No, I'm sure you can get gold stars cause I saw it on the Avon Lady's FAQ. I just don't know how.

Do you have to be playing in Veteran mode to get gold stars or something? Â Because I play Cadet and throughout the campaign the most I've gotten is 4 silver medals. Â I nail every soldier they target for me plus a big chunk of the rest (if my team doesn't get them), and yet no gold stars? Â
