KJU, I cannot run CAA1 with any of the beta's. I keep getting "no world" and other weird messages. I have uninstalled/reinstalled/updated CAA1 a couple of time. I try using icons/command lines CAA1 creates and ones that I have. Any words of advice? EDIT: Is it because of the new CBA version?

I can't install it. Says my versions is 1.03. I have the steam version and the properties even show it is at 1.04. Ooopss! I got it now. I had to delete a previous beta directory.

Found out which one it was KJU. It was the "Sniper Trilogy" Arma1 mission pack. It was on armaholic. I am back up and running.

I am getting this now too. Hmm... It has to be one of the arma1 missions I copied over. KJU would this happen because of a bad mission pbo?

Same thing happened to me Wiper. Mode: SpecOp Light. I got shot during the mission. So I pressed restart and then the frozen image of you sitting in the chopper.

I played a Evolution QG red with this addon. I like how the units are "updated". DC plane = C130, ZSU = Tung, etc...

This game is buggy. It all depends on your hardware/software combination. Some combinations get you 90% workable game. Some combinations get you 0% working game. It is hit or miss. You just have to hope BIS fixes it for your combination in a future patch. That is all you can do. Stop spending money on new rigs/upgrades because you think it will help in this game. It won't. Stop spending time on "tweaks" because you think it will help in this game. It won't. The game is buggy plain and simple. Just hold tight until BIS gets the "major" patch out. If you cannot play at all I am sorry, but don't lose faith. BIS is under major pressure to get this stuff fixed before OFP2 hits the market in October. Your patch should be out before then. They know and understand they need to get this game/sim up to snuff before then so they can give Codemasters the finger and crush that game under their boot heels.

Has anyone tried changing your flat panel scaling in the Nvidia Physx properties to "Use My Display Built-in Scaling"? I have heard this in other graphics forums that this helps Windows 7 x64 and others.

By spawn point I mean like "moving" front. Like if you capture all the towns in the south and capture the base at the harbor then you have the option to spawn there to get your ground vehicles to fight in the north. Instead of driving for a half hour to the front which is very boring (one of the reasons people hate EVO).

Can we make the MHQ if we have one drivable by anyone right at the beginning? Or maybe make some sort of spawn point base nearby that has to be captured first.

Same here. Win7 x64 RC 7100 with 8GB RAM/Nvidia and have no issues. Probably your ATI card.

Oleg-Russia, Did you buy the German DVD or did you use one the download sellers? I am just asking, not accusing, but I have heard people with the "torrent" complain about the memory errors.

QuadroFX is really crappy at 3d games. No wonder he give ArmA2 bad marks. That card is made for cad/3d cad. Geforce8/9/2xx series runs rings around the FX in 3d games.

Maybe BIS/community should promote those AAS (Advance and Secure ) gameplay modes instead of EVO? This would surely steal a lot of the BF2/Proj. Real players. I think there are tons of these players that like the BF2/Proj Real game play but are just looking for that little extra. ArmA2 can provide that.
