I'm having a bit of an oddity occurring with my logo. I'm not in a squad/clan but have always used various logos in OFP just because I thought it was a great idea by BI to put in. Having really started playing MP ArmA I set about making some new ones. All seems to be working correctly, except the image doesn't show on the vehicles when I'm playing any type of MP other than self hosted. If I'm playing a coop mission in SP, hosted on my machine I get this... On an (offsite) dedicated server I get this... However whether it's self hosted or dedicated, BOTH of them show the image correctly in the Player/Squad info page in game. I did try to take an image of this as well but it captures the UI only and not the text/image over it. I may have also done something wrong in the XML but I don't think so. Any assistance on this front would be much appreciated.

I was thinking the textures looked a little fluorescent. Perhaps more like this... Regardless, really good (and speedy job). Do you wanna live forever!

umm, I'm aware it (the video) was released as a 'teaser' however having never seen/played the original and therefore having no nostalgic feelings for the game that vid told me shit all of what to expect. WOW, there's a game coming that has a boat and a plane AND a missle... Don't misunderstand me I am always keen for anything that come from the offices of BI but as I said I have no idea what this game is.

I was wondering what is the best (read quickest/easiest) method of finding the names of all textures (.paa/.pac/.rvmat/etc) used by any given ODOL model?

Third attempt from arma.info seemed to finish properly but still resulted in a corrupted ffaa_im_vehiculos.pbo. I await your separated packs as I have everything else and won't d/load it again. Regardless, good work for what I've seen so far in my 15 minute test.

I've tried from arma.info twice today the first one failed @ about 26mb in, and the second with about 60mb remaining. However, I'm blaming my ISP.

Your English is OK but here's a translation "Can/will you include the ability to drag soldiers such as that from SLX?" From the SLX Readme In other words they are free to implement it if they choose to. I recommend doing so with credit.

3rd person and crosshairs are hardly a matter of national security. He had a question, I answered it. Ask a different question and you may or may not get an answer.

Crosshairs and Third person are up to the individual user or server Admin. Having these on or off will not be forced by ACE. Edit: In SP I quite like having 3rd person but for MP I prefer not. ACE also gives the end user (currently) three camera positions for it, selectable via a config file.

Yeah wicked! I've owned M&B since about v0.751 (or something), and to any who haven't played it, it is the finest example of mounted melee combat I've ever played. Go forth, download, enjoy. This game is awesome. (where is a sword swinging emote when you need one)

From an AI tweaking, ballistics altering point of view I can see what you mean. However I was more referring to things like the stamina/wounding systems or cargo/ruck systems. Anyway, I still stand by my statement of 'most' existing missions will work with 'most' of the ACE features. Obviously a mission designed around ACE would be better but we are trying to aim for compatibility or atleast playability with existing missions/campaigns. @Sig: I've not once seen that flaw.

ACE is a replacement Mod. Therefore, 'most' existing missions will work with 'most' of the ACE features.

If you hadn't planned to, can you please add wound textures to the models missing it. No wound textures can make a fantastic addon less than fantastic. Looking forward to an update CMD.

none. I don't agree with this. Sure nothing has been released that states 'USMC' on the tin but there are several USMC vehicles available. Things already in ArmA AH-1Z M1A1 HMMWV AV-8B Things by Mod teams AAV7 - FFAA Mod UH-1N - Also by FFAA UH-1H - by Hellenic Warfare Mod F/A-18 - by Franze Not heaps but with reskins you'd have 8 USMC vehicles.

THIS image shows one of the markings I was referring to. The barrel markings you are talking about I don't think are included (yet?).

The M1A1 as well as several variants of it will be included in ACE. Same with the M1A2 and its' variants. In other words 'No' the M1A2 SEP will not replace the M1A1 but will compliment it. edit: As for the video Andersson, we have recruited the very talented ArmAVidz for that project but no further info at the moment.
