hmm, I'm afraid slowing it down won't really fix the problem. It seems to me the sprites are just too different, so you'd still see the transition, just slower. Anyways, I don't really know what I'm talking about, and I hope I'm wrong, because if the transitions are fixed this will be the best graphical update since dxdll. -

This has probably been answered somewhere in the 82 pages, maybe even multiple times, but when I use a custom sky (WMR's myhisky specifically) the nvg effect doesn't work. Is there a way to fix this or will I have to revert to the original BIS sky?

it works, the effects for the dust are excellent, but the one for fire needs work, as it mentions in the readme the transitions are way to fast and it looks like you were playing at 4x speed. the only thing this planes need is an ejection script, great stuff.

I've searched everywhere and apart from the scuds I haven't seen anything else of this sort. But I was thinking how cool it would be to have a whole pack of ballistic missiles, maybe even with a CoC unified artillery like interface to request strikes on specific grid coordinates. Just throwing the idea out there, I don't have the skills to embark on this project, but I think it would be an interesting addition to the game. Seriously, who wouldn't love to see something like this in their OFP? Info on ballistic missiles can be found on This wikipedia

the scud is a ballistic missile, so there is one, I'd love to see more variety though.

yea I have the tomhawk pack, I've had a lot of fun with it but ballistic missiles are more impressive.

This has probably been discussed somewhere along the 900 posts but I wasn't about to go through 61 pages so: What's the problem with the beretta, I get "Error Loading Y2K3_hg\Beretta.p3d (magic)" when loading units with berettas, how can I fix this?

If I recall I remember seeing them in some incarnation of y2k3 mod, I'm looking for m4's with eotech holo sights, to aid in the search, for those who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm refering to these sights sorry if this is not the place to ask, I already did a search in both addons forums with poor results.

I think there might be some problems with hit detection, I've sent a few stingers flying right through them.

btw heatseeker, notice it says fast rope insertion, and even rappeling can be faster.

Man I love these addons, especially the pave lows, I've been wanting them in ofp for ages, and this ones are excellent. The only problems I've found are that if you tell the pilot to transport and the time passes, you won't be able to select transport again. Also if you do, bu there is nothing to transport, you can't tell it to abort. Also the rappeling animation could be faster, it is fastrope after all, I think the Bas blackhawks got the fastrope pretty well.

I have to agree with the crowd, I saw the screenshots and thought I'd have myself a cool new island to mess around in, only to scroll down a discouragingly long list of required addons.

if you have good frame rate it's not that hard to time the wall climb. I get it on the first try almost everytime.
