What a crock! As if there isn't an inherently high chance of mission failure when flinging a probe across millions of miles of empty space and down onto the surface of a different planet! Dickheads. Having zipped through the first half dozen-odd missions on Resistance (which I've been dying to play) in an hour I have spent all afternoon stuck on this bloody terrible level. The one before it (Scrap) was bad enough but this one is just plain stupid! How can your tank crews be such utter klutzes??? I don't remember having any problems completing the tank missions on CWC, is there any reason why they seem to be so much harder in Resistance? And are there many more of them? Please, God, no! It is driving me up - the - wall!

This is an outstanding sim. Can't help with that prob but I have a different one. Since I got a new PC running XP every time I start up A:H or C:H my view tilts vertically upwards and won't come back down. Recalibrating my stick makes no difference at all. If anyone has managed to solve this prob I'd love to know how.

Seems a bit of a shame to name the first 9 (well, except Earth I s`pose) after Roman gods and then get all Eskimo for the 10th. If it's going to be an official planet then they should rechristen it. They could name it after Nike (Roman goddess of victory) and get it sponsored!

Sure is scary. I had to travel through London yesterday and I found myself looking around the main concourse at Kings Cross, trying to work out if anyone was about to shout `Allahu Akbar' and blow us all to pieces. I beat the frigging crap out of my PC on a regular basis. Keyboard gets the brunt of it. It's very therapeutic to just whack it with your fist so all the keys fly out, then you get time to calm down while you're slotting them back in. Eventually, of course, the thing just breaks and won't go back together. At one point I started buying really flashy, expensive keyboards on the basis that maybe I'd hesitate before breaking them if they cost a lot. Didn't work, so now I just buy cheap, dispensable ones (about six times a year).

True, but it's best if society doesn't descend to his level. His right to privacy doesn't just protect him, if it was ignored on this occasion it could be ignored again in the future, then it could be ignored all the time and you end up with trials like OJs. Anyway, maybe if they can't spend all their time analysing footage from inside the court maybe, just maybe, the media will concentrate on facts for a change.

Yup. But there were a couple of other motivators for TBA in reconsidering their steel tariffs: 1. To reward TBA2 for UK participation in the Gulf - even though iirc the tariffs didn't affect `specialist' steel exports from the UK, it still made TB look a bit better in Europe generally. 2. They didn't work worth diddly squit in terms of helping the US steel industry! This new situation is going to be an interesting one to watch though.
