I've had the Avia truck addon for a while now but everytime I use it OFP crashes to desktop and it is slightly difficult to mention this to the author as he is Czech and I don't know the language. The addon itself is superb though and the gaz 53 is also a very good addon also. PH

Pappy you've got the right idea as they are very important to have when dealing with engines etc (LOL). Hope the Colonel doesn't forget to add the obligatory Sledge-hammer for when things arn't going quite right (LOL again).

Cpt. FrostBite I will agree with you wholeheartedly on your comment, in a way you bolstered my ego by comparing the British and Dutch armies because believe it or not, I am also part Dutch on my mothers side of the family. I got the best of both worlds LOL. PH

Well said there Imshi. The british army is the finest in the world (I should know as they had me for a few years LOL). The only real problem is the people controling the army (not just the british), but this is not the place for political talk. PH

I kind of fell in love with these when I downloaded them (very RAINBOW 6 LOL). The weapons are not much of an issue as you can always provide them with appropriate gear at the start of a mission. There are so many high quality addons coming out that I get a bit spoilt for choice in what unit etc to use LOL. PH

I use triggers to open these. The good thing about it is that the triggers can be changed according to how you want them to behave so that eg: a soviet bmp can pass through but any civilian or western vehicles etc cannot (ie a restricted area). PH

Being a fellow brit, I have been waiting for this release for a long time and can say that it was certainly worth the wait as it is an amazing addon worthy of respect in the sheer attention to detail. I shall invite a few (!!) of my ex-para friends round for a detailed cross analysis LOL. PH

Another amazing addon I downloaded today. But how does this salvage boat thing work? I read the readme that came with the pack but I cannot figure out how the whole thing works. PH

Just got back today from helping a friend with a small problem and have been downloading like mad. I must say that I love the Brdm-1 but it will not engage enemy forces even though I have changed the weaponscope from 0 to 2 (as mentioned in an earlier post by another member). I set up a small senario as me as driver of Brdm-1 with AI gunner inside accompanied by a BAS Brdm with Dshk with AI driver and gunner. We ran into a group of US soldiers just outside lipany and only the BAS vehicle gunner engaged the targets. Any ideas? PH

I got myself a new water texture and now this amazing night sky addon. I love it as it creates a different kind of atmosphere now. (By far my favorite skies have to be from Morrowind with the original Unreal coming in at 2nd place). PH

I love these new textures for the water but agree that the first ones would only look good in a tropical climate but the other ones are great. I was wondering if it was possible to create a transparent texture for water (using alphas?)? This would be so cool. PH

I have to agree with Leone on this point as I can speak from experience having also upgraded to XP pro over 98se. It caused so many problems that I had no choice but to do a complete reformat and installation of XP. You will save yourself a lot of problems by doing this. PH

Ok, i'm trying to make a small arctic style base using various objects from mapfact barracks etc. The problem I am having is that when I place an object like a clipboard on the desk (editorupdate102) it is standing up whereas I need it to be lying down flat on the desk. Any ideas on this (keep it simple because I am a complete idiot at everything) PH
