no.. you dont edit the truck. go to Y2K3\Bin\Configs\Exploding bodies effect thats the default config.. but if u use the no exploding bodies or unit replacment then edit that config... anyway look for the pv3s and add in that transportweapon and transportmagazine lines into that definintion (u sound like u know how to do that so ill aviod the details) and then use the cpp2bin tool... bin the config. move it to Y2K3\Bin folder overwriting the current one and viola... problem solved for you PS: the civi truck, res fuel truck and res pv3s is the Zil pack

thats the civilian model.. althou its based off the resistance one thats odd.. i did forget to add that line but it can accept 50 magazines and 10 weapons according to the base class.. and i have it transporting some AK ammo and other res weapontry. if its a serious problem for you then you can go ahead and edit the config yourself to allow for it to transport more weapons and ammo. its too late for 7.3 but if theres a next version ill keep that in mind. guess i never noticed it cuz i always ended up destroying all the trucks in that mission so i never had any weapons to transport in it other then what was already there.

perhaps some of the orcs scripts are slowing you down or mabe its just the higher quality models. if its the scripts try removing a few of them from the eventhandlers of the T80 and/or T72

you mean the GUI? cuz that is changed via the resource.cpp not data/data3d files. i mean yea u can do it.. but thats 300 megs of unessacary downloading

Don't know if someone said this before: what about DKM's Tunguska? Is that AA-vehicle too powerfull? I think it could replace the Shilka? i like to replace vehicles with the same or highly simaler modern variants. the shilka is a ZSU-2-4 the tungsuka is a 2 barell weapon with 8 AA missle tubes. if i use it i need to implement the AA missles as well, if i do that it will screw up so many missions i couldnt begin to name them all. on top of that it would be extremly weird to jump in a mission "destroy the shilkas" yet.. theres no 'shilkas' on the map. thats like the early days of ofp addons where u play a mission flying an "f16" but its really just a reconfiged A10.

i want to get this patch out since it has the really cool features like the 3d crater and such. the reason it wont make this patch is theres only one person in the world that has it is manfred... and his internet is fubar, cant send files. so he cant get it to anyone to release it. so the spetnaz mod will not be releasing that shilka.. and knowing htier relase record prolly never but thats beside the point. when i read the news post about it it said "a week to release" that was 3 months ago. years ago i got smart with the "work in progress" posts and stuff.. dont belive it until you see a "released" topic. u wont be disappointed however 7.3 isnt like that 7.3 will be released this friday

and how much ram do you have? you could have a 14Ghz computer but if you have 256 megs fo ram your only gonna get 15fps. you could have a 1.0 Ghz computer but if u have 2MB of ram then you could have 4000fps

there is a 5 second timer on all the grenades now. that feature was introduced in 7.1 i have to ask thou did you upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1? or did you do a 7.1 clean install? cuz the 7.0 to 7.1 patch was faulty and caused that and numorus other errors but 7.1 full was clean. as is the 7.1 to 7.2 patch. "But when I tried to select the Salvager and try it I got an error about SPP_Crew or something in the likes of that. " this is not a Y2K3 issue since i have no clue wtf that addon is... let alone use it. "The same goes for selecting the M2 armed HTTV, but this one about HYK_USsol" seems to work for me, you goin from a 7.1 full install patched to 7.2? or did you start from 7.0?? "the same goes for the HMMWV and Mk19. Tried to replace it with the one I had (prolly newer) but got the same error." still dont know what would cause your game to not load the hyk soldier. if you have the latest version, which was included in 7.1 then theres no reason this error should appere

i forgot i do have 2 complaints 1: why is the tie fighters on resistance side instead of east? and 2: can we please get a lil orginized with the clas names? i got sci fi: and Star Wars : transports, fighters and Imperial whatever cant we get just a tweak orginized here? other then that im having fun edit: tattoine island idea scratched

a USCG mod fan MSNed me tonight and discussed how much he liked the USCG mod... that mabe he would do some missions invovling rescues and such. and i figured what better example to use them then in a natural disaster like a hurricane. and in light of recent events i thought i would flood new ocean island. the bridge is out, but the airport and NG base are still above the flood level so you can house survivors there. if you do a mission on say Sept 2nd @ 10am the water is waste deep. @ noon its neck deep. between July and October is when the water is the highest. between the hours of 9am and 3pm. Â so unfortunitly no night time flood missions. Download Flooded Ocean Island (78kb) requires New Ocean Island w/ All Included Addons (53 MB) i hope this isnt offensive or anything like that considering recent events. but it was recent events that prompted this island. weitehr your doing screenshots or hopefuly missions... this is a good island to do flood rescue missions. Mission Possibilities: Rescue Search and Rescue Riot Control Anti-Looting and many more. edit: forgot to mention the island is only flooded during "high tide" so make sure u test between jul and oct and between the hours of 9am and 3pm in the editor. edit2: Island Updated with Debris

not a big deal but i must nitpick the Y-Wing is actualy a 2 seater. the second seat is for the gunner of the ion cannon and works the proton bombs. no big deal but i thought id point that out. i really enjoy the addons the A-Wing is awesome. AI vs AI the A-Wing wins hands down. its really fun setting up some of the random dome shaped buildings from teh tattoine pack. have the awings cover yuo, fly a Y-Wing and pratcie bombing targets (could pretend their gas mines or weapons depots)

7.3 will be shilkaless but in lou of that ive added lasers new helo pilots the release could happen anywhere between 7 days and a week from now

Eh? Pappy is the creator of this island. This isn't the first time someones clamed credit for his work either (Some guy claimed to have made Y2K3 on a different forum  ) Back on topic, I never got around to downloading this earlier, mainly because I didn't have any mission ideas for it. But I decided to download it and the USCG pack for a change. Its looking great, nice work  USMC Sniper started the project, hence why the highway is named after him on the island. then wacky iraqi and myself continued it. then it went to just me. however he is right... he did start the island actualy when u released it the only thing that island had was "china town" that was it. WI and myself added the airport, NG base, USCG base, port, factory/power plant, wooded area w/ farm houses. basicly WI and myself added everything else. you had china town and about 4 or 5 sky scrapers. oh and the rual area w/ the houses course you made most of the buildings we used. but the island itself was barron land when WI and i took over the project. to give u an idea.. when i first opened the island in wrptool.. it had a total of 63 objects. now it has over 1000 edit: this island wasnt modeled after new orleans or any other city.. it was fictional. i just wanted to mirror the new orleans incident so that people could reenact rescue efforts. and for the record New Orleans is exactly 6 feet (2m) below sea level. no more no less -

pretty neat. just fooled around a bit with it. you do need to rename the dinos in the editor so we know which is which. i do have one tiny personal complaint.. but its no big deal. the InGen helicopter.. that model is from the USCG Mod. (i can tell by the blue tinted windows and the added extras like the ball on teh front and the inflatable rafts (tube thingys) on the exterior).. now im not complaining.. its fine that you used it. just be sure to credit the USCG mod for that model in your readme. i didnt see any credits list in the current readme unless i missed it then i applogise. but all i ask is a lil credit. you are more then welcome to use it. interior textures and all. just credit. thats all we want. please folks dont blow this into a "omg they stoled it!" argument. i saw it in the screenshots awhile ago.. and emailed the mod leader and told him that i regonized the chopper in the screenshots and that they were welcome to use it. so althou they didnt ask... its not that big a deal. i just want credit givin to the USCG mod for that model

there was a fella makin some missions for it.. but i dont know what happend with that -
it's being done  . Funny how Pappy says with every version that "this will be the last update" , he just doesn't realises his job ain't over untill he doesn't care about ofp anymore  hey.. you know what i always say: false hope is still hope! i want 7.3 to be the final one... but if i dont get my hands on that damned shilka looks like 7.4 might just be it. anyway. like i said im still waiting on that shilka. im actualy making a lil progress in getting it.. however i have stated that if i dont get that thing by the end of this month 7.3 is goin out as-is. i will release it. so dont worry. when i became a modder i swore no matter what.. any advertised project i was working on i would release it, finished or not. until then im just relaxin with some NASCAR... they are in the "playoffs" so to speak and my fav driver is right up there in contension for the win so im focused on that mainly right now.. but dont worry i still got Y2K3 in teh back of my mind and i made a deadline. shilka or no. by the end of this month there will be a 7.3 Patch released for Y2K3!
