    yea i noticed that big a bit late. thats actualy a bug with all addons that use a start up sound. what happens is: the AI are too retarded to understand a stoped or timed waypoint. so the mission maker, in this case BIS, must remove all fuel from the vehicle. unfortunitly, the AI still attempt to start up the vehicle. which activates the "engine on" sound. and they will continue to attempt to start the vehicle until it has fuel or until they die, whatever comes first. sadly thou i discovered this too late to do anything about it perhaps the next patch that will be resolved if there is a next patch

    unfortunitly no, just like the exploding bodies thing.. it is incorperated via eventhandler. and if the other addon has its own eventhandlers then it will not carry the "Default" ones down

    the exploding bodies needs to be in the eventhandlers of the unit... most 3rd party addons/units have their own eventhandlers thus canceling out the Y2K3 one's. also the tracers are from bn_880 and he configed them to be performance handeling.. so if your FPS is low (say you have 256 megs of ram) then your not gonna see them since they would drag you down even more

    that has nothing to do with it. all unnessacary scripts are not used in the russian tanks. however the models are higher res along with the textures higher res then the sig ones so yes they are a big laggier then the old ones. luckily i left the line for sig tanks in the eidtable config so just unblock it // and block the orcs one to revert back if this is a problem for you. 1.8 Ghz AMD athlong, 512 ram, geforce fx 5200 are my specs and its not "that bad" however some would say im insane cuz i think 14fps is fantastic. its the best frame rate ive ever had, and thats counting stock, out of the box, ofp.

    hm, I haven't been too accurate , *fixing* -> WGL mod has been the first one which replaced the islands notebooK. ahh ok. well then yea they were the first to do that.

    Y2K3 skypack + more has already been updated with this. 4mb download gets u new skys, night vision, rain, and a watch. no they werent. they were a pioneer of taking other models and renaming it as thier own: ie the night vision goggles. they are INQ's and weither or not theres a fine print somewhere that credits him.. they changed the name of the model to wgl_ from inq_ and i think thats just iggnorant. now before the wgl fad users jump me.. im just submiting my opinion on using someone elses model and renaming it as your own. weither credit is givin or not i just dont like renaming the model to be your own. PS: this was an earlier version of wgl they did that in, i dont know if it still is like that but this was then. back on topic: i dont quite think they use PDA's in combat... but an overhauled notbook, even a retex would be nice. althou if a pda was created as a replacment id still use it

    Listen up folks! in addition to 7.3 ive updated the skypack to use the new laptop/notebook by gachopin so feel free to re-download it and update another part if your GUI. (skypack & more is not required to run Y2K3 but a nice addition to change even more)

    mods like FFUR, EECP, and Y2K3 never claim credit for models or textures used unless we the creator specificly made addon. we have always givin credit where credit is due. the only credit we take is for the hours and hours and hours of time spent replacing default stuff with it. remapping scripts, updating scripts, tweaking stuff. thats what we take credit for. so please dont group us with stuff like this where its just packaged up and released as a "mod". this is an addon pack.

    yea its not really that big of a deal anyway, its at the top of the screen and not in your way, not blocking gameplay activity, and it goes away after a few seconds. i mean i suppose if i put my mind to it i could probably solve that issue... but its alot of work takes alot of time and i just dont want to *beep* do it. im not a perfectionist. im a goodenoughist. and with a small error like that its good enough it works and thats all that matters. gameply is unaffected and the game doesnt really matter hopefuly 7.3 is bugless now so i can go bug the news posters at ofp.info for a few weeks to post the patch

    Kegel: the 3 bugs from the orginal 7.3 release are fixed now so if there are anymore bugs they arent major enough to reissue the patch so afaik thats the final 7.3 patch listed on my site. and the updated patch is 49 megs not 45. so theres how u know right there. Neo: the ejection error you refer to when tanks explode, is it a black bar at the very top of your screen with a huge line of code like remove eventhandler _u type of thing? if so this isnt an ECP error this has to do with the expoding bodies. its not that big of a deal so i never bothered to fix the error. the ejection error i was refering to was when u ejected out of a plane u got a pop up message saying missing files @ECP\Init.ses

    hopefuly i fixed the missing hands, the raft, and the lack of weapon and ammo storeage in the PV3S. i removed the ovtp script that checked to see if the T80 or T72 was in the water since i removed the fording feature... i think that should help, but i still think its the higher res models download link on my website is updated hopefuly this will solve those problems the orginal patch had introduced

    cooked: refresh my memory badger: install 7.1 FULL install. that problem is caused by usng 7.0 to 7.1 patch. u need the full install. so reinstall using 7.1 full

    the hands texture was there i just forgot to map it on the cargo pilot (the attack pilot's hands were maped correctly) the truck ammo storeage is fixed. the tanks.... i checked all the scripts the only script i can speculate causes the lag is the looping script to see if the tank should be fording water, but i removed that feature when i incorperated the tanks.. however the script is still there so mabe by removing that script it will work could be too that these are ALOT higher resolution models then sigma's were

    oh.. .well why didnt u specifiy which side thats odd the US pilots have missing textues i swear i got them all. ohhhhhhhh i know why i missed it! custom face. i use a custom face and hands textures therefore overriding it and thus the missing textures. alright looks like i might have to fix the 7.3 patch. LISTEN UP. i want anyone to see if they can find any more semi-serious bugs like missing textures. ill fix the missing hands... fix the transport weapon and ammo... and ill see what scripts are expendable for the T80 and T72's to improve performance. give me a couple days for all this. i just had a REALLY bad weekend and i dont feel like doin anything right now

    i forgot to mention.. this is actualy to cell7 but i assume he's part of ur team and will read this. the Millenium Falcon addon has the falcon and the the "civilian" version of it. my complaint.. actualy an innacuracy... is that the Millenium Falcon is a modified Corelean YT-1300 with hundreds of illegal modifications including: -Laser Cannons -Proton Missel Launcher -Smugglers Cargo hideaways among other things... but anyway the laser cannons should be removed from the model for the "civi" version of it. cuz the MF was one-of-a-kind

    my beta testers didnt come across this well the only thing i can suggest is u download the OWP Mi26 addon and install the pilot addon from it and overwrite the one in Y2K3. although thats what i did.. and i used just the pilot and deleted the Mi26.. so i dont know why it doesnt work for u

    you should look into the Y2K3 flare script i used on my helos. incorperates a proximity detonation. so the missel explodes within 10m of the vehicle. to simulate the missel going for the flares. for slower moving aircraft its more deadly. faster aircraft its less deadly. what the script basicly does is create a second missel in the path of the first.. forcing them to collide doubleing the explosion for a neater effect, louder explosion, and more dammage done to the proximity vehicle. however with a lil practice and experiance the MANPAD can be a rather deadly and effective weapon in the hands of a player Â
