I kinda have an idea for the ammo thing but have no idea if it works. put the ammo in some sort of "bags" (like clips). make the reloading animation after each shot and when the bag runs out of shots just hit reload and the anim comes in again and you have like 40 more shots to use. think it's confusing? me too -

that's true. the rifles in the mod are a bit too inaccurate with a bit too short range. and the editor needs the groups. but hey it's only a beta atm btw how does that bayonet thingy code exactly work. like where should it be typed? every unit's init line? -

this prone thing. it's good and on the other hand a bit bad. the soldiers rarely (if at all) shot while being prone. then again I read a short story of gettysburg battle lately and in one part the writer only described how the wouded crawled around in the town to get some medical treatment. in the mod you get hit and keep on standing well it doesn't bother me that much but I just had to say it one more thing. I haven't found out the way the bayonets work... -

it's awesome need some missions too bad I suck so bad at the editor goofed around a little to get the hang of shooting things gettysburg is almost (if not) perfect cept it's lacking the anim thingy. the one that appears as the background of the main menu -

oh gee.... it's not about what you think. it's about when it's ready. if they release it unfinished with some fine tuning to be done with it the MOD won't even be the MOD of the week even if it was the only MOD released that week. @eestikas88 don't forget the MODs that are still unreleased and under development like FLK -
I took a look at the crew page and I'm quite sure they can get a lot done if they keep on working hard quite many women there too so we should only expect the best possible quality :P

well yes of course. I've seen a live Javelin shot leave absolutely nothing left of a T72. but for example light AT doesn't even penetrate a T80. in OFP you can knock out one with 4 LAWs and the tank pushes a nice hollywood flame out to the sky -

the thing with explosions. I'm (personally) fed up with all those huge "ultrarealistic" gasoline flames that eat up all the power from my machine. all the pieces flying around sounds good. and that's quite realistic. the way tanks blow up in OFP1 kinda annoys me. everyone knows that a big pile of metal doesn't explode by itself. it takes a big missile to tear one apart. -
