I still can't get these puppies to work at all. I add them to the mission, but I'm not good at scripting (or whatever you have to do to make them work). Is there anyway someone can send me a pbo file or is there a zombie pack that will come out where all you need to do is drop them in a using your mission editor and they work? I'm clueless. It's a great idea, and I love zombie movies (seen the Dawn of the Dead remake twice already) but I just haven't been able to get these to work. Has anyone read The Rising by Brian Keene? It's a really good take on the genre, and there are some pretty unique ideas in there (animal zombies) as well.

That mech that the BOH mod made is perfect for fighting a horde of them! Using the minigun rules. Great mod so far. Love to see some nukes in it.

You can forget everyone being happy! That's not even a possibility. On a side note, have you checked out the Starship Trooper addon? Those bugs are perfect!

I know most gamers (myself included) don't want to have to make scripts or do anything but put in an addon and play. Is there a way to just drop an addon into the addon folder and it will walk and act like a zombie? I've never done any animations.

HAHAHAHA yeah for some reason girlfriend's think things are crazy. I have looked over every OFP database that I know of, and the only other zombie related project was a Resident Evil one, which would be cool too. I'd love to have scavenge for supplies as the dead draw near. Break into farm houses and things like that. The big cities would be great (gaia island would be perfect), but I'd probably have a mission trying to pick up supplies as I helped other survivors out. I do think that if you released a finished addon, and it made it's way to all the addon sites, it would bring more interest. Zombie films are getting more popular, look at RE and 28 Days Later (okay, infected humans). Have you seen Undead? If you get a chance check it out, it brings some new things to the zombie genre.

I think you have pretty much cornered the market on zombie animations dude. Before this thread I thought the only zombie addon was that zombie face from a long time ago. I have always thought a NotLD scenario would be perfect, given the OFP engines strengths.

From the screenshot they have it looks like Nam. But who knows, with the whole "OFP" universe.

The M14 model looks familiar, I think I have it from a Counter-Strike model, for my M4. I would look at a real life model and then compare the two.

They look totally white until I get close to them, it sure makes them easy to pick off though.
