I'd like to see a new animation for when you put your primary weapon away. For example, rather than slinging your rifle over your sholder, how about something like this, or perhaps this.

Â The means of detecting asteroids still are very very limited, its a very very big space out there and even though there are observatories and things all around the world its not even nearly enough to monitor the surroundings very well. I remember that some time ago there was an asteroid that already went past earth until it was detected, and it went quite close too (in an astronomical sense) Of course, also the chances of an asteroid hitting earth are very very very small, but it has happened and will happen in the future, but again in an astronomical sense so it might be a billion years. I'm not saying we can see everything coming at us, far from it. All I'm saying is the technology is allot better now that it was 50 years ago. So we see more things like this, and just because we're only seeing them now doesn't mean they wern't always there. The chences are still slim.

Don't worry guys, the only reason more of these asteriods are being reported is that we have more powerful detection equiptment. Maybe we werebetter off living in ignorance Anyway, fact of the matter is, IF it was on course to take us out, there isn't a whole lot anyone could do about it. I think thats an unfair generalisation. I play GTA. Does that automatically make me 'not all that smart?' I think it's good fun. But I know it's a game and the events and acts depicted in it should stay there. Still, I can't ignore that there are people out there who can't see that. I'm sick of people using games as a scapegoat for their own stupidity, and the media lapping it all up. As has been said before in this thread, why did the underaged kids have access to the game? Why did they have access to the weapon? You can't blame the game manufacturers. You can't blame the firearms manufacturers. If you do that, you might as well blame the companys who were foolish enough to put those tractor-trailer rigs on the road where they make perfect targets Games may play a SMALL part, but no moreso than other forms of media. This is the fault of the individuals and/or the parents. I hope they get locked up for a long time. [/rant]

All of the above. But Arty would have to be done right. It'd be real easy to make the artillery too effective, thus taking he fun out of the game. I think the best way would be to limt who can call in a firemission. Like only a squad leader, if his squad has a radio; or create a new unit, the forward observer,who would call for support. That would be truley awsome.

I am currently speaking to Jahve about converting Cold War Crisis to use BAS units. So it won't use the new island, but you will get some missions to play. I've been doing this since JAM came out. Let me tell you, the missions are much more exciting  been doing what? Converting the CWC campaign using the BAS addons and JAM. Great stuff.

I found this on my hard drive, and realised it was never compiled and cleaned up. It's the second war story we did, and I think it's worth a read. Watched tonights episode, it was nice to see Col Dempsey get some decent screen time. It think there was a rather cheekey line at the start of the episode: "Blame the French, it's worked before." Do you think the writers were trying to offend? Dodsey resigning his commission? They shoulda got rid of that newbie trooper. Still, it was hilarious watching him get chased across the rugby field Apart from that, nothing much happened.

The French SF had infiltrated a terrorist group onboard a ship, which had to dock at a British port because of bad weather. The French didn't inform the British about the operation, and the British assumed that everyone on the ship was a terrorist.

Because after he was shot, he went for his weapon while he was on the deck, therefor he was still a danger, so the French dude shot him again. I'm sure and SF operator would do the same, given the situation. On a side note, I can't find the damned DVD boxed set anywhere

She's not dead, she's in a coma. Ultimate Force isn't realistic, but it's good old mindless violence. Can't be bad to that. I'll be buying the first series on DVD
