    I doubt that somebody can show you pictures of this vehicle in action since as far as I know it only exsists as prototype which was shown at some of the Russian military exhibitions. It's only a study of what could be done to upgrade and re-use existing T55 tanks.

    Nope. I don't plan to finish this addon. I just released it because Bullz_Eye spend some time on it as well, and I didn't wan't his work to be wasted.

    The error message is my fault. Bullz_Eye send me a bunch of sqs files with spark effects (some sparks even follow the projectile) and a small mission to try them all. They were seperate and not part of the addon PBO. But when I picked one of the sqs files and added an eventhandler to the config the error appeared. I assume it has something to do with the [_this select x]. I never know how to write it correctly. Maybe it should be (this select x) or {_this select x}... etc???     The BTR-T has the same command structure than the M113 (Driver = Commander), and even the M113 doesn't have that tank damage display. Just because BIS units don't have it doesn't mean it impossible, but it's likely to be impossible to archive. If somebody knows how to, tell me

    Ok, here is a list of improvements and bug fixes for the update: <ul>[*] Sounds converted from OGG format to WSS format (to increase performance on some machines) [*] Armour increased from 600 to 700 so the vehicle can withstand 2 default BIS LAWs [*] Reload time for missiles changed from 0 to 0.1 seconds [*] Muzzle flash will not get darker anymore if the vehicle is hit [*] Added addon dependency (Required Addon BMP 2) [*] Added seperate Cannons for HE and AP ammo. This enables the AI to choose the adequate ammo for different targets [*] Reduced ammo count from 250 to 200 for each ammo type. The real vehicle has even less ammo [*] Added fuel and dammage bars, as well as Speed and Height display [*] Removed the turret explosion script from the alternative variants of the BTR-T (the variants without markings). This also affects the feature to set a custom marking texture (now selection 8 instead of 14) Except for the smoke screen feature (I still have to contact DKM for that) everything iportand should be in. Tell me if you find something I forgot.

    At the moment I only plan to add this version as expansion: I used the same configuration as the DKM Tunguska (burst). So no sound clipping. I just wanna change the gun setting so it will attack tanks as well as aircraft of all kinds. I already changed the sound files to WSS format to prevent lagging. And I might as well increase the armour a bit so it will stand more RPG fire. So it can withstand 2 BIS LAWs.

    Hey Hasi The AT-5 is the default BIS AT-5. And I cannot change the dammage for that missile. I dunno much about dammage of the real AT-5, so I rather stick to the BIS values. Regards, Sebastian

    The textures ain't lost, you just need to correct the texture prefix in Oxygene (it was ontosM50a1 but should be m50a1ontos). The part of the track I deleted caused the model to crash. You just need to somehow redo this without the non-planar faces error. The drivers hatch rotation direction can be set in the config. Search the comented configs for something like: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>SQL </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">class HatchDriver { <span style='color:#333333'><span style="color:blue;font-weight:bold">SELECT</span>ion</span> <span style='color:orange'>=</span> <span style='color:red'>"poklop_driver"</span>; <span style='color:#333333'>axis</span> <span style='color:orange'>=</span> <span style='color:red'>"osa_poklop_driver"</span>; <span style='color:#333333'>angle</span> <span style='color:orange'>=</span> -100; }; To change the position for the driver to get in simply move the point posDriver inside the memory LOD where you want it to be. I recommend you grab the demo and look at how the BMP is done for instance

    Yeah, thats a good idea. I tried that as well, but it seems like AP always comes first. No matter how you order the ammo in the config. Another solution would be to make 2 guns instead of one gun that uses 2 magazines. That should work.

    Nice screens! I had a testversion for some time that only had 30mm HE ammo. It was nice because they (AI) attacked helicopters and planes, but not armoured targets. So I added AT again. You could try to remove all weapons and add only "BTRT_Cannon30" and "BTRT_Cannon30HE" via init line.

    I took a look at the files and tried to fix some stuff. Maybe it helps you to see how addons are deon. I had to delete a part of the track that caused the model to crash.     Thanks for the texture. Are those shells really green? As far as I know the BTR-T (since derived from the T-55) cannot float. I think I've read somewhere that it's floating depth is around 1,4 or 1,5 m and with special snorkel a bit more than 3 m. But maybe that was for the T-55. Can't remember About the radar: If somebody knows how to add that to a vehicle with gunner/driver only, I'd be gratefull to read how to add it. This at least: "gunnerCanSee=canSeeRadar" doesn't work. I think I'll change all sounds to WSS if that helps to prevent lag.

    Ok, thanks for the bug reports. I can add a WSS file for the 30mm sound in the update. Also I'll add this required addons thing. However, the addon is for OFP version > 1.9, so everybody with that version should have the BMP 2 automatically installed. And thanks for the BMP-T website. If only somebody would have a proper blueprint now

    That would be nice. In fact the smoke is not a custom effect. It's the default BIS tank smoke, or what comes out if you add the 30mm gun as maingun to a tank simulation addon. I'll try to find out as well why only the olive version causes those slow downs.

    Thanks for all those nice words about the addon I'll see if I can incorporate some of the things mentioned and fix some of the bugs (especially those that make the game crash, although I have no clue yet why this happens). Maybe I'll include one version of the addon that doesn't use any scripts at all. No random numbering, explosion effects, different muzzle flashes, etc. So you can test if the bugs have to do with the scripts. Those lovely explosion effects were made by Bullz_eye_on_my_back I'm really glad that he helped me to add those. But the sparkles are just ment to be normal sparkles. Nothing to do with ERA armour. The BMP-T is a nice vehicle, and I actually wanted to do that first, but I didn't find more than 2 or 3 photos of it and so I had to abandone the idea (and Miles Teg, I think it's based on the T-72). I didn't have drawings of the BTR-T as well, but luckily I found a bunch of photos from a plastic model somebody made and used them as reference. Regards, Sebastian
