There is already the Sims, so why trying to use the arma engine to make a sims like game or something ? Arma is a war simulator game, a combat action game, a doom like game and i hope creators wont forgive that. Its cool to have to work or eat but we need some arma action to keep and attract players to SL. RPG realism is a fact, for example add the need to sleep(stay 4 hours in front of ur screen without doing anything) and nobody will keep playing SL. Btw the huge respawn time delay already made a lot of peoples bored with SL, another realistic thing to remove.

i second bad cops problems. I already seen a cop making LSD run with a civilian into his own chopper. Once they had money enough, cop bought Abrahams and gave it to civil guy. Cops didnt get rocket convoy yet, so it was impossible to burn the M1. He destroyed all convoy and cops were out of ammo, game was ruined, i quit and i dont know how its finished........

Holster isnt bugged, in fact you respawn with a gun already holstered, so if u buy a new gun you cant holster it and u see the holster/unholster animations. Just check your inventory when u get this problem or when u respawn....

Hey Max ! happy to see old guys like me ^^ ! I think the problem is the difference between a rpg and a war simulator like Arma. I like SL, played for a long time, but the last version trend to annihilate the heart of Arma. Most of peoples who have bought Arma want to play Arma, even if they play SL, hexenkessel, coops or others Berzerk, they want to play Arma 1st. So, when u start and make courrier jobs or another work for 2 hours, u dont play Arma, u begin to play the real Arma only when u get your 1st AK and RPG, and when u find some allied guys for starting a terrorist/fight carreer. Then, Arma is the best game for teamplay, thing who is only present when u play cops. Creators really need to improve the guilds to force civils to create real gangs and fight each others, so, no more deathmatchs civils/cops. But i think when guilds and mayor aspects will be improved, the game will be very awesome, just improve it quickly before most of players(like me) get bored and dont play anymore. cya all

I'm happy to see that shops/WP give us much money on 1.12 version. Now the main thing to upgrade is the mayor, he needs some mechanicals actions when he add laws cause now its only text lines, and nobody must follow his orders. Whats happens if the mayor claim "all cops must be unarmed" ? nothing, cops are the power they will take all weapons they want. I think the mayor should be able to jail, arrest cops.

not sure, custom files are like character face and custom sounds it may have been unsigned mods (or mods i dont have keys for) that you were removing? .pbo extentions etc? Just add this line in ur Server.cfg : maxCustomFileSize=0; Anyone connecting with custom sounds & face will be kicked

LOL Fenix why are u speaking with this guy ? he is already banned from Jana & others servers for the same reason. Its only a kids like many on SL, they think they are powerful because they are safely behind a screen and they insults, trash or harass for nothing. But i dont think the best way to deal with this kind of guy is the Kick/ban command. As far i know SL is a RPG, so i propose to every admins to have a rpg behaviour on their servers : Players who insults, harass, trash, lie, moan and all others misconducts should be warned a 1st time. If they keep their behaviours, ticket them, if they still harassing you, jail them 1mn, then 5mn, 10mn.... If they kill themselves to respawn faster, jail them again and again untill they understand there are rules and laws to respect, in real life, on internet or in SL. Once they will understand that, may be their moms will come on your server to congratulate you to make his kid a nice kid Merry christmas

1- Jana seems to be a bit nervous, yes, but its hard to admin a server while playing SL at same time, especially as cop with civ marker off. When i'm admin on KH, i can say its very hard to take the right decision at a time when tons of kids and idiots are yelling or trashing for nothing. Anyways, Jana is used to play evening or night, so u can play when she isnt here if u dont like this admin way ^^ 2- i Hope some others good games on Jana server because i tested some others and i can say, Jana is the best.

Issetea i noticed some major problems who arent in ur current log : - jail choppers are bugged (crash or dont land in jail) - guild points doesnt work - can't capture the gang area - ammo truck doesnt have any...... ammos after entering terror camp Dunno if creators are aware of that, there is a bug between animations wich allow u to unholster pistol without be seen. So, u see a guy making pushups then u see him with a pistol in hands instantly. A video is available on youtube I tested it and just when playing an animation, use the pistol by inventory, then click the Normal animation. U will stand up with a gun in hand without the unholster animation. So, very annoying thing. Add other problems i missed here Nice work guys

As it was foreseeable, a edited version of 1.10 with more money has already been released. Players start with 27500. U really should raise the income of WP/Shops or tons of edit will show up, and anyways in the game u will see too many players trying to rob bank with a gun every 5 mn. I guess the money cheaters will raise too. Found out a BUG in gang area, when trying to get the flag, a script error appeared and a msg said me "u cant claim the territory because another members of a guild is here". I was alone in the game.....

in the past it was easy to earn money quickly, in 1.10 its just impossible. Dont forget we are initially playing ARMA, a war simulating game, and even if SL is a RPG, peoples will be quickly bored to make courrier or farmer jobs for hours just for buy a AK and some ammos !! We want to make the WAR too ! In the past, when u had much money, u bought weapons to make the war against cops, or just shoot every cops on sight, its a bit dumb but it was the only option available. Now, u added something very interesting : the GANG WAR. I wonder if i can see a gang war like in Chicago in 1930's, with armed civils from different guilds killing each others in bagangoo while neutral civils will run away and cops & bountyhunters will try to separate them. Now with the money raising too slowly its just impossible. Minor bugs & problems : - When ammo truck reach terrorist hideout, only weapons available, no more ammo. - in terror hideout, RPG cost 80000 ? - in terror hideout, no more RPG ammo - Fix the hunger thing, we aren't bears or seals to have to eat 10kg of fish every days - I got an error msg when the 1st ammo truck start to travel. - Weapons delivery missions : deal a G36, bought it 10k, sold it 10k, huuuhh ? - I bought many guild points, but still 0 point in stats and guild menu. Anyway guild points should be gained when making gang action like rob bank, selling drugs, or killing members from ennemies guild. I like this version(only for the guild thing) but i will keep playing 1.02 cause i want some actions and some war. Keep the good work, and give up the small details like sirens, phone or markers, concentrate ur skills on most important lines of the game. OMS EDIT: Just checked the prize of weapons in Masbete : 18000 for a m16GL, 50000 for a stinger, 80000 for a RPG, 250000 for a Javelin ! I think this version will be more appropriate for the Sims than Arma o_O

Well Krazkilla, we will prove Jana Civ Marker off are too easy as civilians. I have a couple of friend ready too. Just, set up a date with Jana's best cops against some regulars SL players. Target will be to take control of bagangoo in less than 1 hour......

I played this afternoon on Jana server which was full. Once i started a cool guy sent me 50k, i bought marijuana with it, my marker was still blue, i didnt see the "Somebody buy drugs", then i sold it easily without seeing any cops. I repeated the same operation and had around 400k in 20mn of play. So, i was bored and switch to cop. It's definitely too easy to play as civil with marker off Jana.....

just a word on Jana edit : 15 mn for removing empty car is really too short. We need around 1 hour. Many cops are doing their jobs around masbete, watch drugs/terror camp, make some road controls, and when they come back to their cars...... disappeared. They are stuck in masbete or middle of nowhere. Same as civils when u are killed somewhere in ur new tuned car, while u respawn and came back, car has disappeared. When u buy a 100k chopper and stay it hiding somewhere, disappeared and the money with it.....

About markers off/on, just play a real game as cops against skilled civils and u will see its hard enough even with markers ON. Civils are twice more than cops, when they own the 6 businesses they earn 15k/paycheck while cops earn only 2.5k. Cops have free weapons, yes, but its easy to cut down their ammo supply by mining the road or just by destroying the convoy. Then, cops will have to buy weapons, so, rob the bank every time u can and they will be low in cash too, making the game impossible for them. U can use 3 jammers in a row, it means no more marker for 30mn, so, where is the problem ?
