  1. Hi, Noticed that this bug still occurs in 2020 when I first noticed it years ago. In the virtual reality map in game, when using Track IR, as you move your head, the view will rapidly flick between your actual TrackIR view orientation and directly forward. This only occurs in VR and in no other areas of the game. Would be good to have this corrected. Thanks Michael
  2. Decided to have a fly around in a jet today. First thing I noticed was screen tearing whenever I looked up. Even on the ground, looking up caused horrible screen tearing where half the screen was looking straight forward and the other half was looking where I was actually looking. When I disabled TrackIR and looked around using ALT+Mouse, this tearing didn't occur. When I enabled V-Sync, it did not occur. When I tried to use Bandicam to capture it, it stopped and captured normally. When I tried to take screenshots during the issue with Bandicam, the error did not show up. Short of taking a screenshot with a camera and posting that I can't show the error. I have been playing a lot of DayZ and this error has not occured whilst driving ground based vehicles, but it did occur whilst in the jet on the ground in vanilla ARMA 2. I am currently running Beta 1.62.95417. I have previously flown around in jets with no issues. I believe I was playing 1.62 release patch the last time I had no issues. I never had this issue with 1.60 either. This may be a beta 95417 specific issue and I will test regular 1.62 later today. My system specs (which I doubt will be an issue seeing as I've been running this game on this system for ages): i5-750 (2.66 Ghz Quadcore) GTX560 Super Overclock (factory overclocked to 900 Mhz) 4 GB DDR1333 RAM Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme 2 spinners and an SSD.
  3. Strange as this is pretty much what the game does when a player fires a weapon. 1. The player fires a round. 2. The round is tracked. 3. An effect is created at the point of impact. Trust BI to complicate things unnecessarily.
  4. I have successfully set up artillery using the Artillery Module combined with the Secondary Operations Module to call in the 9 default fire missions. It works perfectly. However, when I set up an artillery peice and operate it manually, the Smoke, Illumination and SADARM rounds do nothing. HE and WP work fine (I haven't tested laser guided ordnance). Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix this? Here is my initialisation for the artillery peice I'm operating (first two magazines added are extra HE ammunition): this addMagazine "30Rnd_105mmHE_M119"; this addMagazine "30Rnd_105mmHE_M119"; this addMagazine "30Rnd_105mmWP_M119"; this addMagazine "30Rnd_105mmSADARM_M119"; this addMagazine "30Rnd_105mmLASER_M119"; this addMagazine "30Rnd_105mmSMOKE_M119"; this addMagazine "30Rnd_105mmILLUM_M119"; All shells appear in my action menu and I can load them without any trouble. But when they're fired they effectively do nothing. I can even see the smoke shells landing on the ground, but there's just a bullet hit and nothing happens.
